Mounting gauges on the A-pillar.... I'm no expert but I don't think you should mount gauges on ANYTHING that says SRS AIRBAG, but who's to say...

Search man, we don't have airbags on the pillars, so it is safe to mount them on there..

Thanks!

i will continue to tune the fic this week..because this is my stepfather's car!..and he wants it during weekends.

I hope i'll be able to clear the idle and part throttle mapping. And after i will raise the boost a bit!

Great job on the install. *Nice lookin FIC* Is that a custom turbo kit or is it zage/TSI?

And yes...dyno that bad boy at 6psi once you get the tune figured out. Maybe a wash too :)

PS - I thought there would be issues venting to atmosphere with the BOV...any insight as to why you didn't just recirculate?

Hey Turner,
thanks for the F/ic deal! Yes its a custom turbo, every part have been selected, soldered and assembled by me. Once every detail finished it will be washed. The BOV is simply because i this one laying around. I hadnt any issues with it.

Sorry, but do you mean on your car or everyones car? Because my car says in big writing on the A-pillar right before the headliner SRS CURTAIN AIRBAG. And what do you mean search? Search for what? I wasn't asking a question just commenting on the pics.

On all of the 8thgen civics, you might have the SRS CURTAIN AIRBAG on the pillar but we don't have aribags on there..

Yeah I at the crash tests result pics and you are right, they deploy from the headliner, kind of misleading though putting the SRS on the pillar.

Nice work man, everything looks great. Just like already mentioned, i'd recirculate the BOV.

Well the tuning with the f/ic is slowly evolving, details like idle quality and part throttle driving get a bit better everytime i'm on it...i just dont get enough time to work on the car!

By the end of next week it should all be set...and running 8-9 psi.
