If i do use 93 octane fuel i will put a bottle of octane booster in it.... but most of the time i am able to get 97 octane fuel as long as there is no fuel shortages...

Today i went to select the red paint i will be respraying my car with, they did some samples for me and i decided to go with the ferrari red with a blue pearl paint. :)

In the sun u can see the blue pearl but at night and under the shade it is ferrari red which is a little bit more brighter i find the the stock Rally Red.

Yesterday i ran the 1/4 mile 3 times. It was raining and i was using Eagle F1 street tyres so the best time i got was a high 15.97 sec pass... today i will be going to race again and hopefully it won't rain so i can get a better time.... My friend with the Blue evo was able to get a 15.13 in the rain... (the advantages of 4wd). I took a few pics but they arn't that good as it was raining all day at the competition yesterday, hopefully today it will stay sunny and then i can get some good pictures in instead...

I guess that's an upgrade: from super rice to pink. Takes a man with confidence to drive a pink car. Good for you! (just don't do that to my car)

the red is now ferrari red but it now has a blue pearl to it, it's hard to take a picture as the cars colours change from every angle so pictures don't really do it justice.

Depending on country the method of determining octane is different, in USA we use the (R+M)/2 Method which gets us 87/89/91/93. China just like Europe uses the Ron method were they have fuels rated at 91/95/97 Ron. 97 Ron is the equivalent to 93 (R+M)/2 here in The States. I would be careful fueling up with 93 Ron seeing as its around 89 octane rated in (R+M)/2.

Nevertheless your car is very nice.

I just ordered a new clutch kit for my car from exedy, aparently this clutch is good for up too 300ps car so should be sufficent for my use. Will update with photo's of the install and the clutch soon, just now deciding if i want to use my original flywheel or the lighten flywheel that comes with the kit.... i've heard that it's not good to use the lightened flywheel for a R18 turbo car and should stick to using the original flywheel... Comments guys... :)

HMMM.....
Exedy makes only OEM Replacement Clutch Kit for R18 civics.
EXEDY Globalparts Corporation | High Performance and OEM Clutches and Flywheels
No Race clutch, no lightweight flywheel....
