That kinda seem a little bit extreme unless they added a aftermarket computer or piggy back EMS and tuned the car. The other problem is when i add the intake manifold i would need to get my car retuned again, and that mean's i have to ask my tuner from Hong Kong to fly over again to tune my car.

Actually i was wondering if there are CAMS, Pistons and valves available for our R18 engine ? i was considering doing a engine rebuild to suit the F/I setup i am running. This would be around 1 yr down the track thou... but i was thinking of doing a rebuild of the engine and changing the manifold so i could run more boost, say 1.2 bar would be good i think....

Custom rods (eagle, for example: Eagle Specialty Products, Inc.),
custom pistons: CP Pistons - Products - Custom Pistons
custom BlockGuard - ?

Cams and valves don't needs for turbo engine rebuild...

If i was in australia, singapore, japan or america it would be easy to get things custom made, but as im in china it's alot more difficult !!!

How much did the fd2 front brake kit cost you?I'm planning to upgrade to fd2 oem brake kit but so far they only cost slightly less than the aftermarket one's with 4-pot calipers here in the Philippines. Just wondering how much they cost there.

Any figures of your 1/4 mile ET? Also planning on a TSI turbo kit install. So far browsing the forums, it has good reviews and good performance including yours.

Thanks!

The FD2 CTR OEM brake kit costed me around 6000 RMB, and they type R suspension costed me also around 6000 RMB. As for my quatermile times i should be in the high 13s now i guess... as someone previously was able to run a very low 14s at stock boost 0.5bar but i am running 0.7bar :)

The TSI kit is pretty good over all, just need a good tuner to tune the car for you that's all !!!

Anyone who has the tsi kit and it is working for them please help me out!!!

I have a very important question, first off I live in texas which is about 600ft above sea level and I am having an issue with my car stalling once I pop the clutch. Everything else seems to be working just fine but once I drop the clutch the car will stall and die. If I rev the car when not in gear it is a different situation, it will struggle around 400 rpms then climb back up and be fine. i have learned that once I drop the clutch and tap the throttle it will fix this problem but I really don't want to have this issue for the rest of the time that I have this car. Can anyone help, also I have noticed that once I dropped the clutch when I was close to home after driving for a while it dropped the rpms more slowly and had absolutely no issue with stalling, so is it possible that the ecu is figuring this out and fixing it? So anyone who knows how to fix this please let me know asap.

ya he was messing around with it he was able to make the idle more stable but it still has a stalling issue, but now it seems like it is trying to keep it from getting too low of rpms. But also my car is not fully tuned yet so I can't really get on it yet, so its still a work in progress but I was curious why it is having this problem

All you have to do it get a good tuner to fix your problem. If you get your car tuned right you'll have no problems at all... Im running 0.7bar and have no issues :)

I am getting my car resprayed and installing a carbon fiber truck and carbon fiber Type R Wing at the back. The CTR suspension is already installed and also the Brembo type R brakes are installed too. Also ordered a new set of 17" rims that will make the car look alot better. I will be losing all the stickers for the time being and see if i like the car as it is, else i'll be putting the stickers back.

The suspension is very good and now there is just a 3 finger gap... I will update with pictures when my car is complete...
