I was wondering...

Do you guys think you could maybe make an electric turbo with some PVC piping that you could sell to the people bitching about the price of a quality set up? I mean after all you need to have something for everyone right

will stock internals hold up with your turbo kit? or do we have to rebuilt the engine too?

We still don't know what the cost of our full tuning solution will be, let's guess $1500. Injectors, Fuel Pump, and Fuel Return Kit, consider another $1000 ($400 injectors, $450 fuel return kit, $150 fuel pump with install and any other components). Boost Controller, consider around $300 for any basic electronic controller. That there is $2800 extra itself. Add that $2800 to the $4764 for the base Full-Race kit and you're staring down $7564.
thats not a very good comparision.. cause i dont see this kit coming with a 1500 stand alone, and i dont believe they have listed that it will come with a fuel return kit , which i have seen a bunch or RSX's not using one and making good power... it would be cool if it did come with a stand alone etc

Don't get too fixed on the price.... it's gonna change and not sure how. Overall the kit will not compete with Greddy; rather it's meant to be the best on the market.

There isn't a stand alone on the market that can be done for $1500. Maybe a Hondata product will be available for something like that though....which would be the best option. Nothing definite yet.

True...but I had found the Haltech e11v2 for $1430, but that's not including the cost it will take to wire it in or have a harness made for it.

True this kit isn't coming with a stand alone or any other means of tuning, but it is coming with a reflash tune, unlike Full-Race kits which doesn't offer anything, that's what I was basing my comparison on. I guess I'm assuming it's going to come with a fuel return kit because of the numbers it will make, but we all know what assuming can do. I don't know how true it is, but from what I've heard/read, our stock fuel system (meaning the returnless system) is good up to about 300whp. Once we get beyond that, it's needed to convert to a return setup and this kit making 350+, I just figured it was part of the "Fuel System Upgrades Standard Where Required".

Save your money and get the Haltech E8v2. The 11 is meant more for 6 and 8 cyl cars. The E8v2 will be used in my car in the next few weeks and currently working on Haltech Platinum series for a direct replacement of the ECU.
