CT supercharger Carb legal?

I know that the original Comptech Supercharger was Carb legal, but apparently the new CT is not? I didn't recieve the sticker with my kit. I've been wanting a louder exhaust (currently running Apexi Ws2 w/Dcrh). I don't want to get pulled over and get written down for having a supercharger under my hood.

Does anyone know if CT is going to do anything about this, or did I just happen to not get the sticker?

I'm guessing your from California? Whats the point? You already have a DCRH on your car...that alone is enough trouble when your pulled over.

Yup, Im from Escondido. The cops here are very cool, I've been pulled over 2 times already. There were 2 incidents where I was waiting at an intersection, and both times I was next to a cop that had their widowns rolled down. I was never harrased about mods.

But back to the original question?

Comptech S/C is carb legal.

About 3 weeks ago the cop look under my hood and saw the blower and before he could ask me, show him the carb sticker and it was golden. Although I still didn't get out of a speeding ticket.

Anyone else who recently got their CT-Engineering SC not get the CARB sticker with it??? Obviously the only people who care are in Calif. but it a big deal here to have the sticker. I would call CT-Engineering or whoever you ordered the kit from and find out if they can send you one, you are gonna want it if you get rolled and then you can show them.

That's the thing, I know the people that have the Comptech kits have the sticker, but CT took over and I haven't heard anyone saying anything about the "new" Ct kits being carb legal. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

I am almost 10000000% certain that it is carb legal. They were supposed to be making a Ridgeline that was supercharged using the comptech supercharger. I guess it never went into production or anything. I have heard stories of people being able to get one installed by honda in their civic and having it be under warranty too!

Well...call CT Engineering and ask them. I know most companies send the carb sticker for free, with proof of purchase.

Not sure if it helps, but Comptechs EO #'s: http://ct-engineering.com/miscPDFs/M...echCARB-E0.pdf

So... D-455-24 for S/C, but that's a bit outdated. 12/20/2006 was when the 06-07 Si was added. See: D-455-25

Check here: Database: Aftermarket Parts Database of Executive Orders

Perhaps when their company name changed, they were not allowed to keep the exemption?
