TSI r 18 AEM FIC tuning
So has anyone tuned this enough to where it is at least driveable, the reason I ask is because I have not driven my car in 2 weeks (since I got it installed) and it won't be another 2 weeks or more until I can get it professional tuned and I really want to drive it again. Its been sitting so long my battery is dead because of my amplifier.
Thanks |

Go to www.aempower.com and go to the aem fic forums, on there you will find a thread that is related to the R18 and k20, and they explain alot of things on there.

ATTENTION: If you are still having problems getting your R18 to run and have not taken it to be tuned yet, please PM me with your email address and I will send you the Final R18 Base Map. TSI informed us that they recently found out the base map was corrupted on some of the F/ICs. Unfortunately, they also sent us the corrupted file. We now have the correct one. I will send it to anyone that needs it. It should make your car drivable, but depending on your local conditions, a tune is still recommended of course.
If this issue has affected you, we really do apologize for it. I'm not sure how the file arrived at TSI got corrupted for those kits, but it has been fixed now. |
