almost could drop that 3" pulley in with the same map huh? another 1-2 lbs of boost might bring you back to the 12:1 range

I know why your boost figures are lower then expected... Im assuming your estimating boost based on the Pully size based on there site.. our cars have the smallest crank pulley for underdriving the accessories.. Bigger crank pulley will get you more boost... I think..

OF course he could run a K24 CP with and would probably be at 12psi with his present Blower pulley...

Yes a 3.0 would be 9psi... We run a Z1CP

bp=blower pulley
a2 cp=crank pulley from 02-04 type s
z1 cp=crank pulley from 05-06 type s

bp l l z1 cp
4.0" l 4 PSI
3.8" l 5 PSI
3.4" l 6 PSI
3.2" l 7 PSI
3.0" l 9 PSI
2.8" l 11 PSI

Yeah yeah...HOndata's new tuning solution...Were all waiting...
"
In the future, the 06+ DBW cars should be able to be tuned by using the OBD2 port. So we should be seeing a USB to OBD2 type of cable available.

Positives:
1) Less hardware to carry around or mount
2) work off factory ecu - good for future smog checks
3) retain traction control..and more.

Negatives: It may not have all the features like Kpro. (Keep in mind that these features are at its current state during our conversation. Things/features may be improved by the time it's released)

1) No extended boost map: usually on an all motor map we have 10 colums to tune with. If we select boosted we get about 3 more. For boosted setups...currently using the first 7 for negative pressure and the last 3 for positive pressure.

2) probably will not have boost control or gear selection features but these are things we could add on separately."
