Gotta take it one step at a time...

Once I get settled in my new place, I will drop the coin for another few hours of tuning with the 3" pulley. Right now I am in the process of moving, and have to drop like $5k on new furniture... blehhh
Your moving to a much lower elevation...........Right?

congrats on your success. Maybe one day ill drop the money on the same setup. Obviously Comptech isn't going to deliver the stage two tune for us.

That's just sick.

What do you think a 3" pulley would get you? over 280 at the wheels? I think you should go 3" as well

Still here in CO... No lower elevation exists. Except maybe like 3500ft at the Nebraska border. But I could never live in or around Nebraska.

So, whats the advantage over turbo, if there is one? Power curves straighter? how is it HP/$$ wise?

Looks like you don't because you haven't posted any power numbers on this site.

Umm... Not to rain on anyone's parade, but 272 > 269.

Also, if I recall correctly, he stated that he sees 7psi on his stage 1. I see 6psi with a smaller pulley, and was only peaking 4psi on stage 1. That alone is the biggest problem I have with the altitude affecting performance.

Yes my numbers are corrected for altitude. Basically, if you take my car as it currently sits, it should make the exact same power numbers at sea level. Although with the smaller pulley, I will likely see an increase in boost pressure at a lower altitude making for even higher numbers at sea level.

If someone wants to pay to trailer my car to California and back to Colorado I will do it to prove that point since there are still a vast number of people who do not understand horsepower numbers, altitudes effects and differences.

So by all accounts, I still make the most whp from a Comptech S/C on this forum. I hate to 'brag' or be a dick about it, but it is what is is. Let's not make false claims.
