Greddy Kit sputter right before 6k rpm?

Read some of the other posts didn't see anything similar. My bad if I missed it.

My Greddy kit is sputtering and losing power right before vtec engagement around 6k rpms. Car feels like it's losing power from there on and gets somewhat jumpy during transition. It sorta jolts around and is not smooth at all after that point. Below 6k rpms power is huge then it just dies off.

There is about 200 miles on the kit so far and I have the PNP harness, so (assuming) no wiring issues. No CEL at all. I have the Greddy DT muffler, stock cat, Denso 1 step colder iridium plugs. Just running the base map till I find a reputable tuner.

Anyone else experience this issue?

I think the main thing is your not tuned properly. A tune would help out a lot with your problem.

Eliminate your Catalyst. And get a 3inch.

Start buy getting a test pipe.

1. Called Greddy about issue.
2. Greddy told me to get tune.
3. Called SP-ENGINEERING known for tuning.
4. SP told me to call GR back and get a new E-Manage before I spend 500 for a tune.
5. Greddy tech walked me through the entire process of reinstalling a new base map he had emailed me over the phone. Issue resolved!
6. Took test drive... WOOOOHOOOOO!! SMOOTHER AND PULLS EVEN HARDER!
7. Original issue? Shrug** was cleared off the emanage.

ISSUE RESOLVED awesome tech support at Greddy and backing their product!!!

REP TO SP-ENGINEERING FOR BEING HONEST!!!

Car feels way smoother, no issues, power all the way to red!
