Haha. You're sooo right about the dyno numbers. I actually haven't even really seen any dyno talk on this side of the site. It's awesome. Everyone is happy and helpful. It's awesome. No arguing about dyno numbers and which intake is better. I actually want to come on here now and hang out. I was getting so tired of all the attacks on people and the misinformation be spread. It was geting rediculous. But now it's great. I just can't wait to be boosting. Only 25 more days and counting. YAY!! Hey, I gotta go so I'll talk to you later bro.

It says: 6. Spark plugs that are 1 heat range colder than stock. Personally, I recommend NGK brand plugs, part number BKR7E-11, gapped to 0.030".
according to other threads, those are actually stock heat range. The ones that are one step colder are BKR8E.
I actually went out already and bought the BKR7E-11 spark plugs. i guess i gotta go exchange them.
Good catch. Fixed.

It depends on where you are. If it has a cat and there is no check engine light you should be fine. Some states don't allow open element filters though so I would check it out. I'm pretty sure it would pass in MA.

I have a installation tip that saves you from lowering the subframe to get the OEM exhaust manifold out and removing the valve cover to get the Turbo in. Unfortunately I don't have any pics but I'll do my best to describe it.
1- There's no need to lower the subframe to get the OEM exhaust manifold out. Just unbolt the bracket that holds the shift cables and unbolt the bracket that holds the first O2 sensor wire. Doing this frees up enough space to wiggle the OEM exhaust manifold out, trust me this is how I got my manifold out.
2- There's no need to remove the valve cover to get the turbo in. Since you have to remove the trim where the windsheild washer jets are and the metal plate underneath it to change spark plugs, I suggest doing this right away before you start your install. Doing this frees up a considerable amount of space to get your hands to the back of the enigine bay for heat wraping and etc. The trim has 3 external clips to remove then carfully pry it up and away, don't forget to disconnect the windsheild washer hose. The metal plate has a total of 7 bolts all in sizes of 10mm & 12mm which are plainly visible. Once this is removed, installing the turbo from the right hand side carefully moving some of the hose's and wire harness' is a peice of cake. This is how I got my turbo in and it seemed to be the easyiest way.
Hope this help out with your future install.

How bad is it to run the stock temperature ranged plugs for a day or so with this kit? My plugs won't be here till wednesday and I have to do my install on tuesday because of work schedule. I can only use my shop tuesday night. Will it hurt it by running them for a night to drive it home and back to the shop? I wish they would just come then so I wouldn't have to remove the damn cowl again!!

Stock plugs should be fine for a while, just change 'em out when you can. You're not gonna blow it up.

The NGK BK8EIX's or something like that. I can't remember the exact number but it's the ones with the 8 in the part number. Our cars run the ones with the 7 in the part number.

They went up accross the board on everything they sell. I just bought a used kit from a kid that works at GReddy's New Jersey location and he told me about this a few weeks before it even happened. I think he said it's from the rising shipping costs accross the board. Pretty crappy huh? It's from oil prices. This is what happens. But I can say, the GReddy kit is awesome for the money. A bitch to install but well worth the aggravation. It took me alittle over 10 hrs to install everything. From the kit to all the guages. The Emanage harness and the turbo itself were the hardest part. But I would recommend this kit to whoever can swing it. Well worth it. I love it.

I'm pretty sure the factory style fogs will not fit with GReddy intercooler behind bumper. I had to do alot of trimming of the bumper just to get it to fit right without fog lights.

A lot of people say get the Greddy turbo and just build it up. My question is, how can we build our kits up, but still be safe on our motors. And how much of a whp increase are we looking at?
