The sub-par return line has nothing to do with a catch can. The Go fast bits BOV is a pretty neat idea. I have also heard that the GReddy BOVs are garbage.

Does your oil capacity go up with the kit? In other words do you need to add more oil to make up for the extra hoses and turbo cooling?

You can change parameters on GReddy's E-Manage. The maps can be tinkered with. And no, the oil capacity does not change enough to worry about.

How long have you had your system (miles, months, years)? Is it very reliable? Has it given you any sort of problems?

I have had my setup for 5,000 miles now, and about 8 months. I have had only minor problems here and there, nothing to blame on the kit. I would add it, but I don't see how one person's experience positive or negative is relevant or indicative of the kit's reliability. It's all in the tune

Being that the nearest shop to me with an actual wheel dyno is about 3+ hours away. Would it be advised to stay away from this kit because of the base map? I remember reading it's not the greatest/safest setup and is meant to just get you to a tuner.

That is up to you to decide. With a full 3" exhaust, I was running as lean as 15:1 on WOT above 4000 rpm. The base GReddy map is meant for an otherwise stock vehicle. In GReddy's opinion, however, it does not need to be tuned.

My guess, djpreview, is that they offer different sizes to fit cars and turbo kits that already have a fitting to plumb a recirculation fitting into already. Since you would have to weld a fitting onto the intake pipe to recirculate back into, you would choose a size that is the same as the fitting you are planning to weld on. So the answer is, it depends.

No. The fittings that I think you are talking about are for crank case vapors. You keep those in place (or put an oil catch can in the loop - blueroadster knows a little more about this than I do). You would need to add an additional fitting on to the intake pipe to connect the BOV recirculation fitting to, probably with a rubber hose. There are a few members on here running a recirc. type setup - I don't know who though. Here is a pic from google showing what I mean on a Nissan though, you can get the general idea - see how the BOV shoots right back into the intake?

what type of spark plugs are u running? I just did the install and running the stock plugs until my 1 and 2 step colder plugs come in tomorrow. but it seems like it runs great as is. I ordered some NGK BKR8EIX and BKR9EIX. any plugs recommended?

with the plugin play harness. how in the world do you get the ECM to mount properly. i have mine just laying in the general area right now. I have tried bending it in every which way.

anyone have wild engine jolts? if i gun it, and shift my engine or whatever some part of it(mani/turbine/etc) will hit the body somewhere, haven't figured it out yet.

the white plastic T, in the kit. part #29 I assume is the boost gauge tap? is there a recommended location for this?

Can you recommend a Wideband sensor for the car? I bought an off-the-shelf guage from O'Reilly not realizing I'd need a wideband guage for the new Si. Is it possible to find a wideband for 300-400?

ANSWERS:

1. Recommended plugs are mentioned in the FAQ.
2. To get the factory computer back in place, I put the bolts in while TWO of my friends held the thing in place. It is not easy.
3. I used to get the jolts that you are speaking of. I know what you mean EXACTLY. They went away as soon as I installed the Ingalls Stiffy engine damper. Fixes a lot of things, highly recommened.
4. The T - fitting... I don't know what that was for. I didn't use it.
