So when are both of you installing the turbo?(prelude and Kurt?).

Mine will go on for sure next month on the 23rd, i will be taking the car at the shop that will be doing the install, and will be picking her up again around the 25th or 26th..

I want to run the AEM digital PSI gauge, but that thing is like another $150, and i talk to the guy and he said a turbo timer is really not needed.. its common sense to not turn the car off right away if you have been redlinine it, but for a regular 10 minute drive, driving the car normal, you can turn it off and nothing will happen to it.

I think they were referring to the air/fuel ratio gauge. Helps to safeguard against detonation. Don't want to lean out the ratio or you'll toast a valve, or even weld your pistons to the sleeves. AS FAR AS THE INSTALLATION - love what you're doing, no matter the car's type or gearbox. It takes some balls to go messin' with your ride. Much respect and best wishes. (I hope to get the TSI kit for my 08 Si very soon. I may even have it before next summer.)

Seriously prelude, if you don't take a ton of pictures and videos, I'll be pissed. What's with people making threads and only having like 3 pictures?! Drives me nuts!

I'll be ordering my kit the second week of April.. then hopefully installing it within a week or two.

I set a goal of being boosted by May 1st, so it will be before then.

I have pictures and I have videos. And i have spent hours tuning. Next tuning sessions and I should be good to go. Which means pictures videos, races, install problems, tips, and open for questions. Also, my input on the boost gauge.... buy a gauge cup and put it on the steering column. I just mounted my autometer gauge recently and it look really good. Done by the aux in. is kinda out of the way and not right in front of you where you have a better view of vac/psi. Just my input.
