To each his own.. but there is a reason why all the r18 sedan owners buy the Si grill.. they don't like the ugly chrome on the front of their sporty looking car.

The kit is pretty complete and I recommend getting the plug and play harness unless you want to hard wire everything which you could do but it a lot harder and is a time consuming process.
the harness is $300
the other things are all optional but I would suggest not being a bad idea
the install... was not that easy. It all really depends on if you have a lift and the right tools. My next thread will go into detail about the install. So far not a bad kit at all especially for the money. I just want to wait to see how it performs before I get too ahead of myself.

umm wideband isnt in this list?!

i like how you fixed the filter behind the battery. in the one vid on youtube they have the filter sitting back near under the windshield. i know you're going to have a thread dedicated to the install, cant wait, but is your lower front grill, in front of the I/C, have to be removed in order for it to fit?? and where are you getting this software you speak of? car looks great

Nice. Good work. Get rid of that grill. Its seriously gross. Just debadge the Si grille and get it painted to match.

the lower front grill does not need to be removed but I replaced it because I think it looks better and gives a better view of the IC. And about the software...
F/IC Installation Notes: Honda Civic 06-07
it does not come pretuned for the r18.

It could be yes but coming pre-tuned with the new software makes me feel that a wideband isnt a must. Maybe if i was going to farther tune my car in the future

like procivic said it does come pretuned but if there is a large elevation change then tweaks will need to be made

You will definitely benefit from a re-tune in terms of driving stability and engine idle. The main reason is that the automatic, from the factory, is tuned differently from the manual transmission. The parts should all physically fit the same.

Yea, the AEM F/IC that comes with the turbo comes pre-tune for the manual R18's.

Welcome to the site man, i also have the TSI turbo kit, but have not install it, i just oder my Plug and Play harness, and the 02 censor and 4 spark plugs.

as soon as all this comes in, and i save the 900 dollars for the install, i will also be posting lots of videos and a review.

O and the car looks hot with the IC on there.

What's the claimed hp an r18 makes? I was looking at the kit. It claims a 70hp gain on the r18 and 55 on SI. Does that mean a turbo'd r18 and a turbo's SI might be a good match?
