We do have more videos, but they are not that great. The video we put together was the best footage. The camera was really shaky on most of the other footage =(

I miss my car its been about 1.5 weeks since I've driven it and it sucks. I'm stuck driving around in my gf's 2002 ford taurus that car is a POS and I feel so lame driving it. But anyway I should be getting my new FIC at the end of this week then hopefully will have it tuned by the end of next week we will see...and I promise that I will make a video when it is up and running. Also I did take pictures but they are all at my brothers house which is about a 30 min drive from me so maybe at the end of the week I will post them if/when we install the new FIC

yeah.....so finished up everything today and started it up with no leaks, yet the car has a horrible idle ranging from about 700rpm-1400rpm and has almost no throttle response...yeah

The fic has an internal map sensor used for load sensing. You must hook a vacuum line to the fic with either the t that comes with the fic or directly to the turbo

EDIT: Don't hook the FIC to the turbo, as it will never show less than 14.7ish psi (atmosphere). Hook it into a T from the Manifold

I dont know if anybody answered you, but PSIA has nothing to do with boost. It the absolute pressure for your location. It basically tells what alititude you are at. Its the measure of the weight, of the column of air over top of you. PSIA should equal 14.1 when you are close to sea level i think. the higher you are the lower it should ready(less air above you)

Edit: Im no tuner but thats how it is in the science world.....

Gee, talk about a guinea pig. Thanks for sacraficing yourself Blackened Civic, and posting your victories and defeats for us to learn from. I had a car that was turbo'd from the factory that I upgraded the turbo/intercooler/fuel control, etc. It was never the same. It was wicked fast. But always had tuning/driveability issues. Everyone I knew was in the same boat too that was heavily modded. Whether the extra speed is worth it or not is up to each person. I'll tell you this. It's worth it in the beginning. You never had so much fun, in spite of the tuning issues. In the end, years down the road...your bank account suffers, your car runs like poo, and you convert your car as close back to stock as you can to try an salvage a few bux out of it.

Modding never leaves you, but self control/will power/rationality prevails as you get older. I have all the money in the bank right now to S/C or turbo my Si, get rims, suspension, stereo, etc. I also have an EX. I am saving for a condo for when the time is right. I blew it 10 years ago not buying a house because I thought I was going to inherit some coin. Things change and it looks like I need to plan financially for my own future and stop counting on others to die to leave me money!

Projectprelude,

This is definitely weird. I'm fairly confident that a tune will resolve all your issues. We have just not heard of the base-tune being that off. The only thing I can suggest right now is to double-check everything in the installation. If you need more detailed help, PM me and I'll try to hook you up with someone at TSI that may be of more help.

yup you are now the third person I have heard about besides myself that found out that the tuning is TERRIBLE everyone seems to be having the same problem. I dont see how they tuned this properly, how could any car run with this crappy tune. I am currently talking to someone on this forum (I forgot his name) but he is currently trying to tune it to where you will be able to at least drive it to a shop. I'm not sure when he will be finished but I am assuming he could have it ready by this weekend.

if you get it to be driveable would you mind sending me the maps, because my car is pretty far from any tuning shop and towing would be expensive.
