Yes you can keep the CAI it will bolt on to the SC just like it does the stock intake manifold

Ok thanks guys, is the intake from greddy just an air filter that bolts right at the turbo housing like i've seen on some turbos or is it a whole system itself?

The intake is more than likely just a short pipe with a slight bend or two. I doubt Greddy would just send you a filter to bolt on to the turbo because of how much heat is back there. I could be wrong though. Most people that I saw with just a filter bolted on to the turbo inlet, were the guys with B/D/H series motors because there was a little more room for it to breath in the front of the engine bay as opposed to where it would be in ours.

ok lets put this thread strait

Yes the greddy kit already comes with an intake. It connects to the turbo inlet.

Your Cai will not work because the Intercooler charge pipe comes up and attaches to the intake manifold where your CAI used to connect.

here is a better view to see how the intake is mounted to the turbo. It curves back and attatches directly to the turbo inlet

um...an intercooler replaces the intake...a INJEN COLD AIR INTAKE will not work if it is replaced by an intercooler....

No smart guy...an intercooler does NOT replace an intake. Go look up the purpose of an intercooler and where it fits in the whole scheme of things turbo related...then come back and edit your posts.

I never said that you could make it fit. I was explaining how the intake worked that would more than likely come with the kit. Now explain to me how the intercooler replaces the intake. I've gotta hear this one. Draft me up the plans for that one.

The intercooler piping may get in the way of where the filter for the CAI would be. But other than that the intercooler doesn't replace anything.
