i fixed the leak...and i still get it.

but i dont think it was that to begin with.
lets say i spray 2 times in a row, it only happens on the initial spray. the only thin i can think of, is that the fuel line all the way up to the fuel solenoid is pressurized, then when the solenoid opens, the pressure is lost for a second until the SS lines get fuel in them.could a quick/sudden drop in fuel pressure do that?

any one elses opinion?

Gotta get a copy of your AFR's. If that quick moment of bog is leaned out then you know that it's the fuel not being completely ready to spray. If it's richened out then you know that the n20 is the one not giving its 100% spray at the beginning of the spray.

Still waiting...

SCtuned, do you carry other nitrous accessories also? Are you an official dealer now or just got ahold of a few kits?

So yesterday I took a drive down to NIGHTHAWKSI with my trusty wideband to see if we could further diagnosis the issue he is having when he arms the nitrous the first time. Unfortunately his lighter sockets were not working, we tried swapping the fuses but it refused to work. NIGHTHAWKSI still offered a quick drive in the car and I accepted. WOW is all I can say, Car is quick, The MPH's were jumping 10 numbers at a time when on the juice, sort of like a pissed off SI on the juice. I am very impressed with his setup.

As for myself, I am looking at relocated my battery with the passwordJDM battery relocator and installing in that free space a Dedicated fuel system for the Nitrous system that included a 1 gallon Tank, Inline 255 Walbro Pump, AEM Universal Regulator, Braided lines, and have everything mounted on a tray of sort so that removal is easy. So that I can run 116 octane just for the Nitrous. I am buying all the parts right now but I will have pictures of the entire build.

Yeah! You've been MIA for a bit.... I was wondering if you were still gonna end up posting. Well we're still all looking forward to it. I'm gonna update my first post with everyone's info since it's getting a little spread out.

Man, I wanna know what could be wrong with his system. Mine too yesterday at the DIY meet on the way to the cruise road was racing Tom with his Comptech SC and a mazdaspeed 3 that was coming along too. As I was spraying through the middle of 4th I started lacking power and my CEL started flashing. I gotta figure out what's wrong because it didn't do that before. And w/ kpro on the other motors, a flashing CEL means that the motor's pinging. So if I am leaning out I gotta figure out why it's doing it now and not before =/.

flashing CEL on OBDII is either critical engine missing, or knocking. Id guess you should get a EGT... your probally so hot.. the car is pinging and pulling timing..

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The thing is, the problem started happenning yesterday. It hasn't happenned before and it also doesn't flash during 2nd or 3rd. I did get copper plugs because I had no other choice at the time but other than that, if they still are working then the only thing I can think of is the fuel getting restricted or lowing pressure at that time of the knock. I just gotta see and figure out what's wrong.

flashing CEL is not good. that usually happens before major engine failure.

I did it only in 4th and it did the same thing. I need a scanner and gotta record a movie to really know what's going on but I don't know anyone around here with a scanner =/ that can record movies. I don't know why it's doing it now because it didn't happen before! AHHH! I'm gonna check my plugs tomorrow and update you guys.
