36/24 nitrous/fuel = 75 shot. I bought bigger jets at a performance shop in town and he said it was 100. Nos brand jets are measured in horsepower to the crank not to the wheels. Maybe your talking about wheel horse......i dunno thats just what the manual says. |

I actually have no idea how they figure out what size they need for what hp but for the simple minds they have a calculator and if you would input those numbers, it would be more around 50 than a 75. I've always wondered if jets of different brand would be measured/manufactured in different way but I always doubted myself since if it were true there would be alot of blown motors out there lol.
Just input your numbers with these calculators. Use 45psi for your fuel pressure and 1000 for bottle psi. According to the dynotune one, which is the most popular IMO, you're running around a 60 shot? I'm curious to see what you dyno. Ya thats about right. Im running a 40/24 i says i should run a 22 but i think that might a little lean for a 100 shot. And it says "dyno" so its probably to the wheels. The manual that i have says that its not measured at the wheels. its just hp. It came out to like a 72 Wheel horse power. Not to bad. Thats a lot of power. But i heard that the jets from different makers were measured different. I know NOS brand measured by 1000 of an inch. Oh ya and i put 950 for psi because thats what my bottle is usually at. Didnt make any difference at all though.

question:
im running 35/19. now if my bottle is at 300 psi, would i feel when nitrous sprays? im assuming that my bottle is empty because the bottle warmer was on for at least a half hour and it didnt move pass 300 psi. i gotta go get it filled tonight hopefully. |

Uhhhh... is your bottle even full? I live in Cali (just to give a weather idea) and at the COLDEST situation. Which is me going to work at 430 in the morning while my car is parked outside... my pressure is at 400-450 with probably a half full bottle. That's probably why you're not feeling a difference like you stated in the other thread. When you get to around 7-900 you'll feel a night and day difference. It's like what Gordata(I think it was Gordata) said.. it feels like a vtec crossover. Spraying in second is a guaranteed traction loss. At the track I had slicks on and I still broke loose in second.
And if your heater can get you to around 1000-1100... it's like a night and day difference from 700 psi lol. You have more to come man... just get that bottle warmed up and make sure it's full with no leaks! |

38.50$ for me. then I lost almost half of it in the parking lot.... I purged it and i think it stuck, it wouldn't stop sparying up in the air even after i turned the system off. I had to turn the bottle off to get it to stop. anybody know what could have caused this?? it did the same thing a few times after i got to my house, and now it seems to be working fine.
