Blue! My friends keep asking me to have this published.. between our two builds.. this would be great info for everyone.. and since your getting the stoker kit now and I'm sticking with the racing block.

I'm hoping tomorrow, but the mid-February timeframe seems more reasonable.

Actually, the completion date may be around the end of February or so. The stroker kit has been ordered but they are temporarily out of stock. The delivery time is estimated to be about 6 weeks.

The stroker kit will increase the bore and stroke to 88mm x 92mm (2238.2cc or 2.2L displacement). You could go with a 90mm bore, but I think that would be pushing it too much.

The previous build plan was to have the bore and stroke at 88mm x 86mm (2092.3cc or 2.1L displacement).

The stock bore and stroke is 86mm x 86mm (1998.3cc or 2.0L displacement).

Yea, it is not RedShift's fault though. When are you hoping to get your car back?

Looks like mine will be ready by mid Jan. The new block will be here next week along with the rods. Swift is thinking about head work so that might push it back. Currently looking for a good set of CAMS and only a few places have them so It might be a wait and see what's out there next year. The tuning solutions that Swift is going with has a new product coming out in Feb. so that might push me back to then.. so a lots of "what if's" right now.

Ordered the Exedy Multiplate HM032SBL as it has a 2205 clamp load (same as the Hyper Single) and can support up to 500tq (vice around 245tq for the Hyper Single).

I was considering Carbonetic, but the clamp load is higher than the Exedy Multiplate.

Have you decided on a clutch?

Either the 6-puck stage 5 or Carbonetic twin cermanics (upgrade to carbon later).

I received the Synapse BOV and wastegate today. They are both a little larger than the ones that I was using before, but that's cool since they are better.

Blue- I read up on these BOV's and checked out the site and they look impressive. My question to you is, since I'll be buying the HKS flange, will I simply take off the standard flange, install the HKS one, then undo the clamp that holds my BOV on and just slap this one in its place? No welding right? Thanks.

Correct. Here is a video link that shows the part and the various accessories where you will need to also order the HKS flange.

Good choice Blue here is something you should really consider for your power level and safety reasons.
PL-Tek, Your Subie Tuner, WRX/STI, New Legacy GT/Outback, Forester, Impreza TS/RS Just the gauge it comes with alone is a life saver and serious power gains. The Subaru guys use this alot.
