boost good for endurance and track racing?

so i want an engine that can stand a bashing and beating for long periods of time; not just a straight line monster. should i get a supercharger or go naturally aspirated if im going to drive the car hard for long periods of time? would a supercharger be reliable in those situations or is na better for a k20z3

That is a very broad and difficult question to answer. Driving habits, quality of parts, and tuning are huge factors. I would say go the rout that interests you the most and don’t go cheap on the parts. It all depends on how fast you want to go and how much money you’re willing to spend. The best place to start is with a budget otherwise it will never end.

STi's and Evo's were born for the track. Even though the boosting method is different, the concept is the same. Those blocks can take a helluva lot of punishment (although the Evo's OEM clutch sucks crazy ass) Always remember though that the best N/A motors make the best boosted motors. If you plan on putting the engine under a lot of stress, you might want to OVER compensate the engine's internals. Don't just do the bare minimum to get it strong enough. Make it STRONGER than strong enough and you should be fine either way.

Good luck :)
