It's stories like this that make me not go with them. Them being not just AJP, but any business that starts having people badmouth their customer service and their lack thereof.

^^^^ you say he isn't important, so i guess customers aren't important to the buisiness. That doesn't make sense. If their going to treat all of their customers like there not important, they won't have to worry about it because they won't have any.

They wanted to keep my car another week to send out the part that they should have sent out 3 weeks prior. Whoops.. we forgot to tell you guys.
They are lucky that you were a down to earth, calm, and patient kinda guy..

Because if it was me, I would of gone crazy, and if it was another person especially from miami, they would of probably done their best to screw them over too..

It's not that I completely disagree with you at all, it's just that there seems to be more unhappy customers than happy customers and every single on of the unhappy customers blaim it on AJP's customer service. Whether or not there's a good explanation, this should be a red flag and a change of policy should be at hand.

They may not sit around building boosted cars all day and playing on the dyno, but the catch is the fact that they're not making $7k on oil changes and state inspections so when someone does order a kit from them it should be priority 1 until said customer is satisfied. I'm not saying that's all they should do, but maybe they should hire b/s mechanics to do the little sh!t work around the shop while 2 people focus mainly on: shipping parts in a timely manner, dealing with people/shops calling about the installs of this fickle kit, and maybe actually specifying what needs to be custom fabbed and having that sent out on printed instructions on how to install the kit itself. Then, in their free time AFTER making the customer happy they can worry about r&d on their new projects.

Basically, it should be in this order:

1) making present customers happy (however that can be done within reason)
2) making new customers.

Not the other way around.

There ARE tons of MT R18's in Cali. They NEED one of them to have their kit installed and tuned. I gave them a reasonable doubt for taking a while that it was them who was losing out by taking a while, but nobody can validate lying. I hate liars. They should just kill themselves and go to hell. (Not talking about AJP in specific, just liars in general)
Now they come on here and take personal attacks. What the F? Now I hope they fail... seriously. A personal attack? Thats real professional.

While I agree that it wasn't right for them to attack you in the way that they did, it doesn't make it right for you to attack them in the same manner either. I've stuck up for AJP a lot in the past, but it seems that their customer service is getting worse and worse and it needs to be rectified immediately since they are well known for producing the most power out of the k20z3 out of all optional turbo kits.
I guess it comes down to the old saying "two wrongs don't make a right."

I have had my fair share of experiences with AJP. I even visited their shop several times in person when I happened to be in the area on travel (not that meeting them in person should make any difference). Here is a link to the latest one where even the owner (Ron) lied to me on several occasions.

I'm looking forward to hearing their explaination in reference to the linked thread.

I don't see how I attacked them though. I provided facts on how they lied to me. Then I stated that I hate liars. :x... I know people that lie, and I would never hurt them.. they should just kill themselves though, lol. :x

i read the whole thing ...
that is a shame!!! TO SAT THE LEAST!!!
however, hondata (not doug), but the people(staff including doug) has been known to "sometimes" give people the run around as to their whereabouts or plans ... is as if they won't speak to anyone except that specific shop or dealer ...

i am NOT saying that this is the case ...
i'm saying it could be but in this case i doubt that it is ... so i am with u here ...

well ... as the whole gets deeper ...........

PS: a lot of this crap could have been prevented a year ago when they we (customers) realized as asked for them to expand or atleast get more employees to conduct business in a proper manner ... oh well

Maybe it was just the harsh tone in your post that made it seem as if it was a personal attack on their character. Not to say that they don't deserve to be doubted at this point in time, but the whole "Kill yourself, liars" thing seems to be a little rough. lol.

[edit] I just don't want this thread to be closed by what seems to be personal attacks on a vendor here. I would like to see something good come of this thread instead of a couple of posts and then bailing on ajp's part.

There's a reason there are several threads on people being unhappy with ajp's customer service.. I'm just saying.

My communications were with Doug. He has my email address and phone number. He took time out of his day to respond to my questions and I see absolutely no reason why he would lie. When I called Hondata yesterday the person that answered the phone also said that he was out of the office for the next two weeks. I don't really care what he is doing during this time as it is really none of my business.
