Damn...

I can't say I didn't expect a situation like this happening. For one, who is AJP? Really? A small Florida based shop sending out Turbo kits faster then a sweatshop making Nike's. How come big name companies such as GReddy, Redshift, etc. hasn't even stated that they are doing R&D on the R18 but yet here is a company with a complete kit (minus the biggest factor.. Ill let you guys guess). Sure you can say that "oh, they aren't interested in the little SOHC motor" or is it the fact that HOURS upon HOURS of R&D must be done before a GOOD kit is ready.

Custom mani. plate, eBay snail, some y welded pipes, and ladies and gentlemen... you have yourself a Turbo motor. Does it run? yeah, sure, maybe.. does it run GOOD? you know the answer.

Hope everything works out man, thanks for posting the service quality of this company; someone else could of been next.

AJP ...YOU ARE the weakest link... GOODBYE

Wow man that really sucks...especially for you and them too...Without good customer service, a great prouduct is just garbage...good luck and hopefully you get something back for going through that...does not look at all on their part...

Well after reading this, I have to admit, I was pretty sure you were just playing the victim and exaggerating on some of the things you said. But after seeing that AJP doesn't even have the sense to come up with a half-assed response to defend themselves, I believe everything you said.

I bet about 90% of their business comes from reputation. I can't understand why they wouldn't post in here to back themselves. You probably just lost a lot of potential customers AJP...

I was in for this kit a few months ago but a few posts changed my mind. Good luck AJP. Redshift seems to be doing it right. I can wait.

I feel your pain man. I really do. I hate being burned by people that stand to make thousands of dollars off you and others like them. It's just so damn stupid.

I know they will.. and thats why I was wondering why they didn't refund me the shop fees. Even Sickyute thinks that they should be responsible for those.. and yet I guess they'd rather lose tons of business and go to small claims court possibly in California than to pay the fees. Some people .

Thats why I don't buy any major things like that until they've been tested and fully released and have a good rep with their customer base. 300hp to the wheels on a turbocharged, HIGH compression motor may sound good, but how long is it going to last you?

I wouldn't put a kit made by them on my car unless you could tell me that if anything went wrong they'd replace it. They have like 0 research done. They don't even know how much pressure the IM can take.

but at least you would have something to show for it....or sell the turbo and get back some of the $750 you lost.

no...i read it all, but as pointed out earlier it was not the most ligible "well- written" peice of writting created...maybe you care to explain what i missed?

i dont see how selling a turbo that he would have gotten free from teh chargeback would not be beneficial....the sale of an intercooler and turbo would have easliy gotten his $750 back...

He got the money back from the kit, but didn't get reimbursed on the actual shop work = $750.

That's real hot dude. You took a ride in my AJP'd car that runs like a beast and is trouble free yet you chime in this thread.

The only problem I ever had with AJP is that they were a little late with sending my Hondata IMG. When I needed my reflash done Tony stepped up to the plate and expedited the process with Hondata when there was an issue.Tony always returned my calls and answered my questions in a prompt and curteous manner.

I've had my kit on for about 1000 miles now and it has been trouble free. The car exceeds my expectations and doesn't seem to have the problems most people with the fantabulous Greddy kit are experiencing.

Overall I'm glad I spent the money on the AJP kit and a good install. I won't have to drop another $1000 on cams and still be quite a ways from 300WHP.

That is all.
