wow... i just spent hours reading this entire thread.

I think its a damn shame that AJP was that shitty of a company on that many fronts. Especially making fake accounts as an effort to defend their (already broken) reputation.

As an end result, I hope AJP falls apart, as I would hope any company that leads paying customers astray would.

Has anyone considered contacting a local news department in AJP's area? Who knows how many people have driven by, and said "hmm, maybe these guys can slap a CAI on my ______________ for me", only to have been completely dicked by their (nonexistant) customer service. I'm sure local news would bring angry attention right to their doorstep, rather on an internet forum.

No, their local service is awesome. They've been respected and successful for a long time. I doubt you could touch them in S. Florida. So I guess YOU don't everything...what ever the hell that means. ^^^

I think you misunderstood his post. He meant that a company that dirty deals in one aspect is always liable to dirty deal at another. You can't have integrity to one set of people and have none to the other. I'm glad there are at least some people who didn't get screwed but I feel that you defending a company that does so many other people wrong, is kinda shady. I'm not saying that you should bash them, but you definately can't defend them when they were caught lying and decieving people. That just says what type of person you are and makes it seem like you are the kind of person that can be bought. That's my own opinion tho. Don't ever move away from S. Fl, because then you are in the same boat as the rest.

I agree here. They may have been great locally, but that doesn't wipe out shady ass 8th civic work.

Although contacting a news agency won't do anything, as it is not very important in the overall swing of things. This is especially true being that they won't have too many complaints locally either, only backers.

So both views are correct.

Although backing a liar isn't a very good position either, I guess unless you getting good service from them because you are local.

Then you can play the fool on these boards, as the last thing someone who was ripped off or lied to wants to read is that company "A" who has been caught with their pants down is such a stand up company. Or "well they made huge numbers on my car".

Even though AJP may have a good reputation with the locals, they were also the ones to make the decision to expand beyond the local marketplace. With that being said, responses from those outside of the local marketplace should be weighted just as much.

In the grand scheme of things though, AJP made the sales that they wanted and now have the dyno to generate more cash from the locals. I guess that makes them sleep well at night.

p2r has a dyno ...
i've been there many times ... i don't even know what ajp's dyno looks like.
the locals who go there usually have other family ties there or go there not for AJP but for tony ... tony + ajp imo are separate when it comes to stuff like that ... i know what i say.
so where it seems like it's ajp ... especially with tuning/dyno ... it's more related to tony ...

i do agree with u otherwise.

i just wanted to add to this... tony is the man when it comes to the technical stuff and he was being worked like a slave over there IMO... I personally wouldn't go to the ajp shop for a dyno b/c my friend Sean @ P2R has a dyno and i know he knows more about the tuner market than the people at ajp... that's my .02

Its funny I have not been on the board for months and when I check in I find more unhappy people with AJP. I bought a brand new 07 SI and had thousands to spend on mods to make the car a regular at the track. Unfortunately my first contact was AJP and I got screwed to the wall. They sold me junk parts that did not fit or work at all. I ended up selling them at a major loss. Then they tried to bash me online because they cant admit to mistakes. After loosing money with AJP and not finding any reliable turbo kits I actually sold my new Honda this summer with only 2000 miles. I decided to go with a car that has reputable companies making parts for them that have years of testing. So I purchased a 94 MR2 turbo and after mods is making 425HP at the wheels. I will miss my SI and may buy another one later on if forced induction kits are proven for these cars. Sorry if this sounds like AJP bashing but it seems that my opinion has plenty of support. It was nice to know all of you on the board...

^^ I would trade my car in a heartbeat for a 94 Mr2 Turbo, i had a 91 widebody MR2 that i had to sell. One of the best sports cars ever made IMO.

Wow, spent a while reading thread topic. Also the one about skittles. So much drama in the world of mods and tuning.
