Exactly. The only thing they made was the intercooler piping, manifold, and downpipe. All of the other stuff included with the kit came from other suppliers.

The manifold sounds like the toughest part out of all 3.

Well, not making anything in my opinion would be ideal. To be able to outsource everything is what I would try to do. I don't see how they never had anything though... at one point in the progress of my "kit", they told me that they had no intercooler piping... I don't understand how you can do that.. you over order that stuff so you don't run out... I feel the same way when my work runs out of chopsticks, lol. But its not like we don't have forks, AJP was dependent on other people and/or were just using that as an excuse :x.

I've seen boxes of intercooler piping almost every time I visited their shop. If they ran out, it must have just been temporary. They weld the pipes there and have an ebay store where they have several bends available for sale.

Bling factor. What makes the Motorola Razr better than a nokia 8390? The firmware looks nicer, the exterior is "sexy", and the finish is stunning. The nokia can run no problems, and at a very quick pace. The Motorola will crash. You can get the nokia free, or pay 600$ when the razr dropped. IMO Motorola makes terrible phones. They sold over 50 million Razrs. You pay a premium because you're an idiot lemming. Now lets all go get some time attacks :].

Actually it was about for a week. They said their supplier had been late on their delivery and thats all they were waiting on to complete the kit. The latter of the sentence is total bs, so :x.

u'd end up well over 4300 dollars to get a greddy kit to be at that power level ... then the snail won't be as effecient or last as long as it could.
u r comparing 2 very different setups ...
they don't compare.

True that. And again, AJP may have thrown this turbo "kit" together, but it did perform well when they installed it at their shop. We've seen the videos, the dyno sheets, and the happy customers with 350+ HP. They made a product that worked, but it came with conditions; bad customer service and inability to send the "kit" out to other installers to be installed and "tuned" well.

If we treated them like we should have treated them, this probably wouldn't have happened - Like a small shop in Florida.

Any ways, thank you F.I.A.T for coming in here and at least stating your side. Regretably since a lot of information on AJP comes through here, you probably need to stay on your toes and actually respond to quell any fires, and to address people's issues with your kits.

Where I think JeShUa may be done dealing with AJP, there are others out there reading these conversations and judging your customer skills accordingly. Customer skills are important to most people because it means a fair deal, and support if they need it.

Bah, off my soap box, sorry.

And as far as this issue between JeShUa and AJP, I still am undecided. Was it explained to JeShUa that he would be racking up a bill at the shop he was taking it to? Was it clearly explained to him that he was a prototype in the making? Was everything clearly discussed as to what was involved in this venture, or was he pacified with assurances that "things would go well and quickly"?

Being clear in your dealings with someone, before and after the start of something like this, can make a huge difference, and it still sounds like you weren't clear enough to JeShUa. But maybe it's our "through the looking glass" view to side with the customer. Not sure, but at least you coming in here and stating a view and your case has earned points in some way. Keep it going.

you need your own Judge TV Show.
