I am a huge fan of your car blue and it drives me nuts that as of now there is nothing you can do. I am also bummed out because I will be in Baltimore next weekend but not in my car. I wish I was cause I would love to come see your car, your engine bay is the envy of quite a few of my friends.

AJP never made an attempt to call me since I posted this thread. They did however share some information in this thread. In the same thread, here is the post that they made talking about Doug's visit along with my response. In the same thread, here is the post showing that the user was someone from AJP.

What they did was pathetic and completely unacceptable. Their actions resulted them in being removed as a sponsor of this forum and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Wow so much is going on... I didn't know about that "fake" account situation... I really don't want to get into this but does webby or any other mod have the intel to find out what the IP address was of snowbird for his first or second post, or were all of the post from that username coming out of Fl? I really can't see ajp going that far as to create a false account... I really hope they didn't... At any rate, free round of smileys for everyone... ON THE HOUSE

webby doesn't (at all, *grin*), but check the thread. I think it's the last post before it was closed.

I know this thread is more aimed towards the lies of AJP about doug coming down to work his magic or whatnot, but I have a question for the OP. Since your car isn't running to its full potential right now, why don't you use the Greddy E-Manage to tune your car? I'm pretty sure I've read of at least a few people who have had their car's tuned perfectly using it, is it not an option for you?

This thread was more to document the fact that AJP wasted my time and money. Also to show that they don't give a rats. As far as I know, Doug has yet to visit their shop since I posted this thread.

I'm not using the E-Manage Ultimate because it can't adjust the timing. Those that are using it have the Greddy turbo kit installed where the piggy-back works fine in that application. It won't work for mine since I am pushing higher HP numbers and need the ability to adjust the timing.

Wow.
I really don't know what to say. That is the worst thing that could possibly happen. I mean, you WENT TO FLORIDA!?!! Not only is that the worst business practice I have ever heard of, but it gives sponsors a bad name in a way.
Anyway, I really feel bad for you and it sucks that there's nothing you can do. Remember, what goes around comes around, they'll get it. Don't you worry. If there's any help you need, let us know. I know I'd have no problem trying my best to help you out if I can

Keep your head up and middle finger at AJP AJP got

^^^Yup...To put it nicely, I have not had a delightful experience with AJP.

BTW, it is interesting to note that AJP has provided an update regarding Doug's visit on their site. Here is a highlight from the update they posted in their blog:

Of course, this motor would not be fully functional without a tuning from Doug of Hondata. Originally scheduled for the end of August, Doug’s visit was put on hold while the motor was getting rebuilt. Once the car is up and running, it will be a matter of scheduling Doug’s arrival.

I like how they said that Doug was "originally scheduled" to visit at the end of August. I honestly cannot understand why some people still want to support their business after all of the negative experiences that people have had.

Yeah, and a month before they shipped my second incomplete kit, they were "basically trying to schedule dates with hondata."

Believe me when and if they get that 1200 HP engine up and running alot of people will be interested. Keep in mind that Doug could be pulling your leg too.
