HELP!! anyone has a BOV installed? - Page 3

Wait i thought it was fine anywhere as long as it recirculated... would recirculating make it boost faster too? Sorry noob with BOV oh and does recirculating still make the PPSSSSSHHH sound?

ppsssssssssshhhh sound will be gone as far as my understanding...
and not sure about the recirculation part... sorry!!!

I should have it on my car installed by this wednesday.... I'll let you know!!!
I do have the Greddy RS and I really don't have issues with that... but I really want to try the HKS and see if there is any difference.....

My friend has the HKS on his car and he had it vented in the atmospher and it would stall if he braked hard (went really rich and then died) so he made it recirculate but he loved the "PPSSSSHHHH" so he welded around the fins to a pipe to the intake. Its a little muffled but you can still hear it great

RECIRCULATING WONT MAKE IT GO AWAY BUT IT WIL MAKE IT QUIET.......I HAD IT ON MY SUPRA TURBO AND IT WAS QUIET!!!!UNTIL I GOT A HKS with no recir. IN AND THEN IT WAS LOUD AND RINGING IN MY EARS!!!!

My friend has just intake and exhaust on his GTI and you can hear his turbo very easily...I think it has a diverter valve or something but its a compeltly stock 2003 1.8t gti except for intake and exhaust...

^Also you had a supra? Do you still have it I am so in love with that car I saw one today and all my friends thought I was crazy because I was flipping out..Somebody asked me if I creamed myself....lol but post up pics of the supra if you have any!
