Of course he had that problem, thats why he took it back to the shop to get it tuned up better last i read. But I doubt its running 100%. Ive had my share with piggybacks, and car never runs 100% on our cars for some reason, I think it has something to do with the drive by wire, i dont remmber what i was told.

the s/c doesn't have the same crappy driveability as the turbo. I doubt the fic would make it worse on the s/c unless the tuner didn't know what he was doing. I wouldn't go with that either if it were me.

I've only had my car at the tuner's once. He couldn't get it to run properly the first day, because the injectors weren't seated properly, and there was a ripped o-ring. The next day he had it tuned, and told me if I wanted he could spend some more time on it to tune out a small hump around the VTEC changeover. I declined because the little hump was always there, and isn't an issue for me. Besides, I do intend on swapping to the 3" pulley soon, so it will likely need another round of tuning. Pulley Size PSI
PB 3.3" 9 PSI PB 3.1" 10.5 PSI From the pulley boys site, but i'm not sure that is accurate because the 02-04 RSX came with a different size crank pulley than the 05-06 I think... don't quote me because i'm at work and havent had time to confirm |

Since I'm at high altitude it's hard to say for sure what it will make at lower altitudes...
When I had the original 3.6" my car made 4psi With the 3.2" my car maxes at 6psi (I've seen spikes to 7 when it's under 55°F outside/raining) There are some people at sea level that see 5-6psi with the 3.6" pulley. I'm estimating that the 3.0 will make 7-9psi for me. |

Also, I'm wanting to get a pulley that only gets around 7psi. I don't wanna go more boost than that b/c it's supposed to decrease the life of your motor w/o an aftercooler. |

it spikes because a blower has a constant pressure ratio. when it is cold/raining outside, the air is denser... so you'll get higher boost out of it. blowers make less psi at altitude than at sea level because there is no wastegate than can close later to let more boost build.
