If You Could Choose Only One Modification What Would it Be?
I'm worried that I will kill the car if I do too many modifications on it, but I want it to go faster, I don't want the car to be any louder than stock so I'm thinking that the Comptech SC would be an easy bolt-on. My concerns are, since I am one of those drivers who "vtecs" dozens of times per day, will the comptech sc-ed engine be too fragile or would it still be reliable?, assuming that no other modifications are made.

Im no expert, but heard SC are much more reliable than turbo, especially those not too crazy about mods.
I have intake n exhaust, barely louder than stock, after 3 years it still run excellent aside from alarm issue I had recently. Hondas were sort of meant for abuse and mods, I'm assuming that's what Honda wanted by offering N/A puny motors compared to other manufactures. |

The supercharger will be fine. The problem will be you holding yourself back from buying anything else like a header for an extra 20-25hp. Just hit up a good tuner, vitviper on etune or a local shop. People are running m90 blowers and twin screw blowers on this motor. A little m62 wont hurt it at all. Ive been testing mine out in Tucson,Arizona in 100+ temperature on a 3.2 inch pulley. Its a solid kit

If you're no expert then please don't share an opinion. We like facts here on the 8th. The only reason why supercharger would be considered "more reliable" is because it has a lot less components which means a lot less chance of something going wrong. It doesn't mean the parts of a supercharger will hold up any better than a turbo setup.
If you beat on a supercharger...all day every day...eventually it will fail. It's not God sent and made of Adamantite and vice versa for the turbo. If you baby a turbo and don't push it too its limits all day every day it will serve its purpose for years and vice versa for the supercharger. You just have to know how to maintain your car and if you love doing that on a regular then you'd have no problem oiling certain parts and fixing this and that when they go bad. Turbo > Supercharger for this car. Only thing this car needs is torque which a turbo setup can accomplish with ease. I could go on and on about how a supercharger might fit someone's needs better and if they want moderate power it will be good enough...but I'm not. Just take a look at the for sale section. But on topic... If I had to chose only one mod...it probably would be flashpro. It brings the car alive (even the stock car) and then future mods could be e-tuned but then again I only have to chose one mod so no future mods. Flashpro is still WIN. David

Sorry but I'm tired of the "supercharger Is more reliable" posts. People just need to read sometimes...

Flashpro hands down. It's an essential mod that yields excellent results whether you're stock or fully modded. The more parts you add after the flashpro the higher the return rate.
