I'm still trying to sort it out. Mine fires right up if i squirt a little carb cleaner into the vacuum line for the BOV.

Just something else we need to sort out. I am glad that I'm not the only one working on this problem. We need to get Mike to install his ID's too so there will be 3 of us :wigglesmile y:
Nick, yeah if you can crush that valve on the walbro, run 70psi base pressure at idle. Have it rise 1:1 with your boost, that'll keep you at 70psi at full tilt. Sounds ideal to me.

Make sure you input the latency values for your base fuel pressure measured at the rail. Also, don't input the scaler value listed on that paper based on the fuel pressure. Make sure you just input 1000cc.

Jay that's the plan tonight. 70 psi, change the latencies, and walbro mod.

I'm 70 psi, and modded walbro. While I was in there I discovered the submersible line had ruptured. I figured out what caused it and its all fixed now. I put the fix in my fuel return thread. I got tons of fuel now, E85 won't be a problem. The FPR is set up to be at 70 psi base pressure at all times. I'm sitting perdy now fuel wise. Now i just need get my tune dialed in.

Cold start update- 29F this morning, it fired right up like a boss. It was the ruptured fuel line in the fuel cage. IDs love the higher fuel pressure. Mike, Nick, and anybody else that's waiting to install their IDs, just do it. They should be fine.

I did a datalog last night, it was running a little leanup top(still sorting out the IAT compensation) but at 8500 rpm and 12.9 psi my IDC was 52%.

Here is my current setup:
SN fuel return setup
255 HP walbro with bypass mod
70 psi base pressure
ID 1000s

the shorter arm for my 18 psi actuator should be in a couple of days. Hopefully 20 psi to redline. I'm really curious what my IDCs will be. E85 here I come!

Good news Nick. I'm still just gonna wait till dyno day to install mine. My car is running pretty close to perfect now with the 650s. Granted it's only at 10psi but that's just fine for the winter weather. But I'm stoked that you're up and running like a champ.

If anyone needs the FPR crusher, I'm willing to send it off as long as you pay for shipping, they're kinda pricy new.

what color is your car keefer? I paid a company $100 bucks, and had my wheels painted, and still had cash leftover for the ID1K's. It gave my car a different look, and people ask me "what kinda wheels are those"

I was going to color match them to the galaxy grey... I can get them painted, baked for about 150. I could still probably buy the ID's. . So it's paint and ids or clutch.

Another question. Why would one buy say the ID 725's instead of the 1000s? I mean they're only 30 bucks more, and leave plenty of room if you ever want to upgrade your setup.

Can anyone give me a legitimate reason why someone would purchase the 725's over the 1000s outside of the $30.00 price difference?

Also with the plug and play OBD2 to bosch adapter clips.. no additional wiring or soldering is needed? Just drop in an go?

I don't know why someone would get 725's instead of the 1000's either unless they are just trying to save 30 bucks.

yup the plug and play clips don't require any soldering or crimping

Thanks. Any downside to the PNP clips outside of the fact they cost a bit more?

I'm not sure either why someone would buy the Smaller ID injectors. They are based on the same technology but they are not large enough for a boosted civic. Unless you are running at least 70psi base pressure. But my opinion is the 725s are for a mild to wild NA build.

I'm quite at a paradox with Jeff Evan's last email to me.. Regarding meth injection dropping the IDC.. But I'm thinking If I drop to a 3" pulley and meth the meth will still not negate the additional fuel needed of the 3" pulley.. Any sentiments?

Looking for ball park numbers of how much meth will decrease IDC... and how much dropping down to a 3" pulley will increase the IDC.. Seeing if they will offset or not..

I know this isn't a meth injection thread - but let's say I stay with my current pulley - 3.15" and add the meth injection - will it still increase HP? You guys are knowledgeable here.. so figured I'd ask real quick..
