Cams
Hi Bros,
I have the asian civic with the K20Z2 variant, which only has 155hp. It is probably more similar to the K20a3 found in the RSX? which has only 160hp. There are aftermarket cams available for the k20a3 and am wondering if it'll fit my k20z2. Anyone have any info? Normally, how much hp can one get from changing cams? Brian Crower suggested using the Forced induction spec as mine is auto tranny. It should work with a stock ecu right? Normally changing to aftermarket cams would mean that you'll need more fuel right? I have the AFC neo and i guess I could tune from there but wondering if changing the ignition timing is a must as my afc neo can't advance ignition timing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |
