First, I don't believe this to be a repost, but if it is mods please delete.
Anyhow, I emailed Comptech last night re whether or not stage II & III upgades, as well as an aftercooler was under development for the 06+Si... Below is the email...pretty self explantory... I am curious if stage 2 and 3 upgrades are under development for this s/c, or if there are at least plans to start development? Also, do you plan to develop an aftercooler for this system? Thank you, Jake Jacob, We will be offering higher boost pulley’s in the future for the 06 Civic SI, exactly when I do not know yet. If I had to guess I would say not until after the first of the year. I can tell you that once you put on one of the high boost pulleys it will void the warranty of the supercharger. You would also be on your own as far as fuel tuning, we do not have any maps for any stage 2 or 3 boost kit and we will not be making an aftercooler for that vehicle. You may have to get larger injectors, we just don’t know yet because we haven’t done any testing on that. Let me know if you have any further questions. Nick Potter Comptech So, stage upgrades YES I'll be curious to see these numbers... And a big shot out to Comptech for getting back to me in less than 24 hours and not dancing around my question!

It looks like Comptech at this point...I'm gonna wait and see though, but if I can push 300whp with a stage 3 I'm game...

what u don't realize is that pushing a supercharger like that one to 300whp is pushing the supercharger itself...pushing it too hard, working it too much...thus it's reliability and longevity is seriously compromised...
that think will probably be spinning over 12000 rpms...i wonder just food for thought.

People have been overdriving superchargers for years. Every supercharger or "blower" I have ever heard of over the past couple decades has been able to handle an extra 3 or 4 psi without having any issues. The same goes for turbos, it is very common for people to buy boost controllers and throw them on their turbo cars to raise boost by a few psi.
People have been doing pulley swaps on Mini Coopers, the Cobalt SS, and the TRD supercharged Scion tC with good results over the past few years. You guys who are interested in pulleys may want to check out this link http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pageSponsoredTC.htm They make some killer stuff |

yes people overdrive blowers....and superchargers cannot be compared to turbos ... it's like apples and oranges....
yes i can turn up my boost on my turbo... but my turbo can handle it all day cuz i may be going from 7psi to 10 psi but my turbo can handle 25 psi all day so it doesn't harm anything... on the other hand... what u are saying is that... like the greddy turbo, one could pump psi up to about 13 psi to try and get about 350whp...u will get there by upping ur boost from say 9 psi to 13 psi on ur boost controller...but u can kiss the reliablility and longevity of that tubo bye bye right away.....cuz it's working too hard. the same goes for the comptech supercharger... yes u can pulley it down to 11 psi or so... some people even get 12 psi and so on (RSXers). but the comptech SC has just lost it's reliability then also...u can ask them or go take a look over on clubrsx.com... pully belts popping, tensioners snapping, supercharger losing effiency...etc. etc... so yes u can upgrade everything but everything has it's limits... and believe me when i tell u that comptech one has it's limits.
