228 seems a little low. The TOV Civic has 225 all engine. Makes me wonder

After looking at the RSX Comptech dyno. They did 227 with it, so I guess thats right

yeah basicly they are pretty much useless. sorry but, how does it feel to spend $100 on each hp you've gained?

I just dont know if it is worth it --- 227hp there are some guys on here getting 205 with IHE.
Dont get me wrong, It is kickass. But for 3500.00 I would expect more.

This is a Quote from Shaun Church from TOV....

In this case though, it looks like it is running closer to 13:1, which is too lean for a SC application, even at 5 psi or so.

Definitely a disappointing number IMO. Project Si put down nearly 215 hp and 150 lbs-ft on a dynojet (it is making another 5 hp since then with more tuning). So, I agree, an extra 10-15 hp and less than 10 lbs-ft from a supercharger (with its attendant heat soak issues) is definitely not impressive at this point.

On older RSX's with the JRSC or Comptech kit and Kpro we make a solid 260+ hub hp and 185 lbs-ft on a bone stock car + SC and Kpro at 5 psi. That would equate to about 245 and 170 lbs-ft on a Dynojet. Still not awesome, but more respectable.

One miscalculation many of these comments are making is that 220hp is only about 20 more hp. Actually its about 35 more hp. From what I've seen on this board, bone stock Si's are putting about 185hp max to the ground.

The superchargers seem to be running pretty solid around 225hp to the ground with little tuning. That's 40hp. Now, it does seem a bit low for the cost of the comptech supercharger, however, it is about a 20% increase in horse power.

I'm sure once some better tuning options become available, these numbers will increase.
