Which Turbo kit is the best buy?

Im looking for a turbo kit for my 07 Si and see the greddy kit for around $3300 and it makes 25% more power. Then I see the AJP stage 2 turbo kit for like $4800 that claims over 300HP when installed. Just looking for any info or experience with either kit. my ultimate goal is a low quarter mile car but I hate to spend big $$$ without some good feedback first on a product..
thanks

The greddy kits is great for daily driving with some nice power. Wasnt dsigned to blow doors of out of the box and be upgraded to make better numbers but its got good power and is easy on the motor the way its tuned and set up

Its all about the tuner. I would wait till some other companies come out with their kits. I jumped on the turbo wagon early with the RSX and like a week later the HKS and Full-Race kits came out and I was stuck with a kinda low quality (in comparison) kit. It's worth it to hold out and work on some things like suspension for now.

honestly from a tuners stand point. you can only make so much power with what you are given. the AJP kit provides all components to provide some of the highest HP levels on a K powered motor out there. Compare the components provided in a kit to make an unbiased decision. With that in mind the AJP kit has great bang for the buck at the end of the day

Understood. I was just saying that right now there are two/three options when more shall arrive. They will find ways to get better hardware wedge in that tight engine bay. The RSX went from log manifold, to top mount, to sidemount which is the most effecient not only in flow but also for charge pipes. I may be too far behind in the times... since the RSX did the k-series testing the Civic has a start I didn't get to have :)

leave greddy out of whatever decision u make if u looking for anything above 300whp reliably...

reason being u'll be working the greddy turbo and components too much at those power levels for it to be reliable....the intercooler though will be fine :)

AJP kit is like the full race kit for the rsx....big power with options.

PS: the engine bay is not tight...there's actually more room in there than in the rsx :)

correct the engine bay in the Si actually povide more room for charge pipes and manifolds. also the most efficient manifold style would be a tuned lenght unit that has equal runners. take a quick listen to a rsx with a sidemunt they tend to rumble at idle because of the vast difference in runner lenghts. dont get me wrong the manifold makes great power but still is far from perfect.

It would be nice to have a 300+whp car.. but $4K.. wow, thats the price of the K20Z3 itself :)
I can't really afford it!
Anyways..
2 Thumbs up for AJP!! Their kit is the best :)

If your ultimate goal is a low quarter mile car, go AJP all the way. Their kit is putting down phenominal numbers.

Should have gotten a faster car if you're looking for a low quarter mile car.

For me,its not about speed and 1/4 times...Its about peace of mind, knowing the power is there, knowing that you can control power at the touch of a button...thats why I love FI by TC!! and I baby my si as is...I barely vtec once a week, if that!! when Im boosted there will be alot more babying done, my car is not a daily driver, engine is still fresh! ready to get some air shoved down its throat!! lol Im really excited! thought I should share.

AJP would def be your best bet. the price tag may be a little steep but it's worth it in the long run.
