SRI time difference?

OK so I wasn't going to mod my engine but as I go to the track and my times continue to suck I think I'm going to start modding... So tomorrow I'm putting on my Injen SRI on. My question is whats the expected time difference I can see with this?

put in the Short shifter, if you dont already have it....my first time at the track the only mod i had done to my Si was an Injen SRI and my best time was 15.4. the next time i went i had my SS installed and i ran a 15.1...maybe my technique improved, or maybe it was the SS. ill never know.

Haven't been on the track and I have the Injen CAI with short shifter. I have seen a nice difference in daily driving.

Sorry. Go with Comptech. Reduces the throw by 22% and make the shifting feel a little more solid.

No, that is not the short shifter issue. That is a manufacturer issue.

I've heard that if u do have a manufacturer issue with 2nd or 3rd gear, the SS may complicate the already existent issue...not positive though???

Comptech and TWM both make good short shifters. You won't go wrong with either one. I personally have the TWM and love it.

Honestly....none. An intake is a show/sound mod not much of a power gainer by itself. Sorry.....

+1. Get the shifter bushings while you're at it. Makes the throws REALLY just...well, awesome. Nice, slick, and mechanical!

You will not see a time difference from 3 or so whp i'm sorry. Other enviornmental factors/driving factors yes but an intake shaving off tenths of a second on a naturally aspirated car...no. More practice is the key to better times IMO, unless you plan to spend a good amount on mods.
