SRI time difference?
OK so I wasn't going to mod my engine but as I go to the track and my times continue to suck I think I'm going to start modding... So tomorrow I'm putting on my Injen SRI on. My question is whats the expected time difference I can see with this?

put in the Short shifter, if you dont already have it....my first time at the track the only mod i had done to my Si was an Injen SRI and my best time was 15.4. the next time i went i had my SS installed and i ran a 15.1...maybe my technique improved, or maybe it was the SS. ill never know.

Honestly....none. An intake is a show/sound mod not much of a power gainer by itself. Sorry.....

You will not see a time difference from 3 or so whp i'm sorry. Other enviornmental factors/driving factors yes but an intake shaving off tenths of a second on a naturally aspirated car...no. More practice is the key to better times IMO, unless you plan to spend a good amount on mods. |
