Just was seeing if people knew about them. They are only like $20/gauge, so i thought I'd give it a shot. Guess I'll just go autometer instead.

Did you ask them to put the gauges in your kit? I'm thinking about calling them back and asking them to do it for me, otherwise I'll just buy them outright. I also thought about asking them to throw in an HKS Type-0 Turbo Timer too, if at all possible.

I can tell you it was close to $5 grand, but cannot give out an exact price.

I'm not totally sure what I'm gonna do about gauges right now. He said he will program it at 4 psi when he installs it and told me I don't need the turbo gauge right away unless I want to up the boost. I'm going back on Tuesday to pick up my bro's car, so i will talk to him about my options for the gauges.

Could you also ask them if they could customize the kits with extra parts, if we pay the difference, prior to shipping them out?

My friend bought some of the Glowshift stuff off ebay and the guages are complete garbage. Get and autometer phantom series if you dont want to spend much, if you want some quaity guages get some Defi BF or they have a new blue racer series thats a little more affordable.

You got a website for that. I also need a boost controller for like $200. Do you know any good companys for that. I am kind of interested in this one though.

we will gladly work with you to supply pieces you might not see readily listed in the kits. We have many of the items you are interested so we can send them along with the kit if you'd like.

I think I may take a road trip next summer down to alljap to get turbo'd up from way up here in Minnesota. I don't know yet though, 5k seems really steep. Particularly when I would only get turboed with racing sleeves, rings, etc. plus a new clutch. With the turbo being 5k alone, I'll be looking at like 8k with install. Too much

i love the fact that aj performance can put together kits and also allow you swap out certain parts like the turbo in 06si's case
