sorry if i'm an idiot haven't played with any honda /acuras since my 94 integra 5 yrs ago, which was built by skunkworks... AKA group A autosports anyways wtf is hondadata and what does it do? sounds like ecu is being programmed maybe revlimiter raised or removed ???? thanks

Hondata is an ECU upgrade. Raises your redline by a couple hundred, and engages VTEC at 4500 RPM, right at the top of the tach.

how much does that cost? my friend had vtec controller didnt seem to do anything on his type R. is it worth getting?

visit www.hondata.com and you can see the dyno charts from the reflash that is available for the 06 si. in my opinion it is well worth it. it increases the midrange to redline hp so that you utilize much more of a useable powerband.
