FINAL POST

Hello, here are the pics. You'll be able to find more detailed info on the build and what will constitute a Si Build Kit in Honda Tuning magazine in the upcoming months.

Here is the head that EnDyn developed (find them at theoldone.com)

While the head was gone, we got together our internals.
Supertech Pistons, Valves,Retainers, and Springs and Rods

We popped those in fine.

With the new power, the new exhaust and header was developed
(see previous post for pics of the header)

Oh and before we dropped the engine in, had to make sure everything was set correctly on the timing side.

So these are the components used to obtain the 260hp and 180lb tq. Now mind you, more power could have been generated, but we were not aware that the new head setup of the k20z3 would be effected by the height of the piston seats from the rsx. So in the future more power will be gained with pistons made specifically for the K20z3.

This setup will add about 60-70 horsepower to your normal Civic Si.
In case you havent seen our many post's in the for sale section, our Si ECU is a special program from factory that puts down about 15-20more hp. it is not programmable though, so we had to borrow an ECU to tune the vehicle for 260. If someone wants to TRADE us for our special ECU to get extra HP, so we have a programable ECU, let me know.

Hope you guys enjoyed the build. Its my first time doing this so hopefully it worked out

That ECU has been sold. (that htec17 is refering to)

In addition, anyone in SoCal who would want to see this car in action before its true 2007 debut can attend the Redline Time Attack in ButtonWillow California. Car isnt 100% done, but we think its ready for a day out with the racers.

If you want exact sizes please email me sales@mjhsound.com, ill find out for you

Hello...hello...hello.

Can you please tell us more about this "special" ECU? Yes, I know it's been sold. I am sure everyone is quite curious how it was programmed since nobody has managed to do that aside from Hondata (barely) and Honda.

If I again remember. Doug with Hondata did a custom reflash just for these guys. I'm about 99.99% sure. Let me find his post about the ecu programming.

This entire build is being done with Hy-tech Exhaust, a company with repeat success in tuning honda engines. Hondata will be doing the programming on this engine as well, stepping up the bar with new programming for this engine. Currently a header has been mocked up, which will undoubtedly be the best in the market (just as hy-tech has a reputation for making one of the best B16 and B18 headers). The exhaust will be magnaflow for street, but hy-tech exhaust for race (i believe we're going to get very loud results for the race exhaust). Stayed tuned to this thread on a weekly basis for updates.

NEXT WEEK:
You'll be the first to know what type of components will be going into the engine (however details of part numbers and specifics will be revealed as the SEMA show gets closer). Also the pictures of the engine removed (Along with some notes) will be posted
If at anytime you have a question about any of the pictures or data posted, feel free to pm me.

The vehicle at hand can be seen below. This is the MJH Sound Civic Si.

Yep I was right. It was in his first post. I put it in bold.

Don't know if anyone has posted this info yet but I'm not paging through 10pages of this post to look for it.

Nathen
We have a few variations on the kits depending on power and price range. The basic kits is header, 2 1/2 exhaust, cams, oil pan baffle, hondata reflash and intake. The other kits include ported heads, rods, pistons, etc. The basic kit price is 4,000.00 and goes up from there. The dyno is the basic kit.
