Sneak pics of my turbo kit. EDITED!!

The all japanese "marvie kit" as it's been christenned :)

figured i's wait for someone to make a turbo thread before i made mine cuz i always tend to post stuff on here kinda first i guess...but now HTEC17 got the ball rolling with his Greddy kit...here yall go :)

just a few cell camera pics to tease...more to come.

it's a lot harder to see the intercooler than the picture shows when the car is sitting on the ground...

i'll post some more pics including the interior and gauge cluster etc when i get a proper cam...these were camera phone pics...i have more pics including some of the manifold but i'm not sure if they want pics of their manifold out there yet.

weather permitting i'll have some nice goodies and info for yall by weekend :)

EDIT

-SC-6176E turbo http://www.precisionturbo.net/turboc...tegory_id=3026
-HKS super sequential BOV
-tial 38mm wastegate
-intercooler
-all piping
-3"downpipe
-custom turbo manifold...details later...details were posted in another thread somewhere on here by the manifold designer/fabricator:)...i'll look for it...i think it was in blackfg2's post labelled getting tuned i believe...should be on the later pages.
-dual k&n 3" intake filter
-aem wideband afr gauge
-aem boost gauge + boost controller combo gauge
-570 cc injectors
-walbro fuel pump
-all needed heatshield mterial
-apex-i afc neo

for any other info. or for anything i may have left out..contact sales@ajperformance.com The aboved mentions parts are from the Sickyute/Marvie kit as they have decided to call it...so if that's what u want then u should ask specifically for that kit...otherwise just as general questions or about their regular setup which i don't have many details on.

the car will be tuned @ about 8 psi...maybe more...maybe less...but not less than 7 psi.
turbo spools really quick from what i remember in my test run...and it wasn't tuned fully yet.

the bottom end of the car remains the same...the next major mod will be the clutch...valvetrain etc. will not be necessary as of yet...don't plan to go too crazy with it yet where i'll need to build the motor...i was actually thinking of it..doing the spring, retainers, pistons and rods etc...but that's not needed as of yet...clutch kit for now :)

to answer questions lower down...yes i'll be making more mid range and top end than the greddy kit...but at a slightly higher psi than the greddy kit is running and from a bigger turbo also...so it cannot be directly compared as greddy VS my kit.

maybe the regular all japanese kit can be directly compared if it was to run the same psi on a comparable size turbo.

The jap kit makes more hp at the top of the power band than the greddy right??

I actually think it produces more mid-to-top end, not just top-end. However, I don't think these kits are running at the same psi.....which would make a difference in what each kit puts out. I could be wrong though. It's just a bolt on kit so it's still running at the stock compression. Unless he's not telling us that they built the bottom end while they were at it.

Skittles, I am sure he is running stock compression, he specifically said that the bottom end remains the same.
