If it is rescheduled for a different day (or month) I can go, but it needs to be somewhere that you can drink, or somewhere that you won't be bothered if you drink (or smoke). Somewhere like Markham Park.

I have spoken with Sean Allen asst. MGR at Bill Baggs State Park, he has informed me we can't..., i repeat we cannot have our June 8th meet in this park for a few reasons.

1. What we are doing is to be considered as a special event due to the amount of people coming to one pavillion which we need a special form signed in order to obtain permission.

2. The only Pavillion that is available for that date is pavillion D a large pavillion, due to the fact we are a "car club" we have to use Pavillion A and only Pavillion A.then someone has to put their own insurance down as colateral incase something bad happens to cover all costs of damage.

3. Due to the time of year they do not have special events on SUNDAYS,so we can do it on a saturday just not sunday.

4. We also have a Noise restriction for music cannot be heard from another pavillion or if the park ranger passes by the pavillion and is to loud no more music.

5. No Alcohol. If your are caught you will be issued a P.T.A.(Promise To Appear) in court
for having an alcoholic beverage open.one ticket for every bottle or cup, and whoever puts their insurance down is screwed.... serverly !

6. Last but not least we have to payfor the pavillion when we reseve it, cant reserve it untill we have all forms and docs approved.

So i dont know what to say but it was a good effort but unless we get serious this event isnt gonna happen. Sorry i was really planning to go but, again "i'm the BAD GUY, but you need people like me. So you can point your fingers and say thats the BAd GUY" .

So who wants to do it right???? We can have a July or Aug. date any feed back???I'll set everything up with the park, i'll even put the event in my insuance and pay a part for the pavillion and still bring food and supply's, but with no feed back i wont. I know that with the right planner(ME) this could be a bad a$$ event. Let me know.

Keep in mind that we don't need to do this like some type of event.......

We can all just show up at the park, park together, and all pile onto a section of beach. Just bring some sandwiches, sodas, and a battery powered stereo. There's no need for BBQs or liquor. Seriously, I'm sure you guys can have a beach get together without liquor. We DO NOT need a pavilion.

you obviously dont go to the beach often or at all in that case, when miami ppl go to the beach, we need to have atleast one of the 2 following things, 1. BBQ, 2. Beer.... so yes, we do need alchohol, and i refuse to eat sandwiches.... end

as of now, the meet is a no go... i am setting up a new date with bobbySi at a better location.
