Gas Prices

Just wondering peps, since we all how much as prices down here are now a days i was wondering. today when i went to fill up my lancer 02, it cost me $38 on reg., im just wondering how much is it going on an SI this days since im getting mine beginning of next year. (more or less an est. figure, thanks!)

it costs me about $50 even to fill my Si up on premium out here. Averaging about $4.10 a gallon.

here in the bay area in cali i just got gas a couple of days ago at costco nonetheless for $3.87 per gallon!!! for 10 gallons it was like $40... too out of control...

Damn!!!!! i guess that what one pays for owning a nice car. nonetheless i dont think ill be complaining much when i get the car, good thing if depending on how you drive it should last some time no? anyone anyone??? how come on the SI you can only put premium, rather regular?

Well I drive over 100 miles a day so a tank only lasts me about 3 days, but I guess 300 miles to the tank (give or take a few) is pretty good.

I'm not exactly sure about the reason why it only takes premium, I think it just has to do with engine performance

$40-45 in Illinois

fill up around 270 mi 1 bar left usually.

I fill up for 3.56 a gall premium Hess, crazy how it varies near my job its 3.78 by my home its much much much less...fillin up once a week its 38-41$ a week

High compression + lower octane = knock and detonation

Thank you sir, lol, that "detonation" part would be a major reason why not to put low octane in the car though.

These gas prices are outrageous! I paid $41 to fill up at $3.69/gallon and that was at Quick Trip, the cheapest gas station around. I have never paid more than $40 to fill up and I just can't believe that day is now.
