Florida Vacation Advice

Ok so here's the deal, I've been planning on going on vacation this summer and I think it's going to be at the end of May so I'm in a rush to plan it all out. The girl I'm going with wants to go to Florida and a hotel on the Gulf Coast, so any suggestions as to what part of Florida on the gulf coast?

Naples, Bonita Springs, Tampa/St. Pete, they're all nice. Just beware the Red Tide...if it's in the area.

Bring your car and your camera. Lots of scenic areas for some sick shots.

The end of May is when I'm planning on coming, but I didn't know that and how do you find that out when the season is?

I'll definitely take a look, wouldn't mind getting some pics with some other 8th gens since St. Louis isn't really the hot spot for meets

Seriously, Red Tide isn't a HUGE deal, unless levels are high. I only know about it because the one time in 20 years that I'd been to Florida, it was present. Just shower afterwards and you'll be fine. Read up on it and be sure not to go swimming during the high level season--usually the end of summer.

go to clarwater beach and at least start there. plenty of places to party and a huge spring break destination. plenty of girls too. theres also st. pete beach, but not as populated as clearwater. key west my personal favorite if you really wanna party. panama city beach if you REALLY wanna party.

I would go to Key West. It's not on the gulf as your girl requested, but the water is MUCH warmer as it's closer to the equator. :) Also, it's an historic city. Stay in Old town, none of the new hotels that are on the new part of the key. Lots and lots of stuff to do, things to see, food is wonderful!
