Martin Sports Car Club
Martin Sports Car Club events are held first Sunday of each month in Lake County @ some Police training facility. there's a big open lot used for training that MSCC uses & sets up a different course each month. its 25 bucks to run without a memebership & there's some sort of discount if you're an annual MSCC member i believe. dunno the # tho. sorry.

a reminder since this thread didnt get remade, and after a read through i saw some stuff that is against the rules

Due to users abusing the Chat threads, and violating the site rules in them, the old threads have been closed and new ones opened only under these conditions:

No Selling in the chat threads, even if it is site related
No Rep abuse/whoring
No discussion of anything possibly related to copyright infringement
No post whoring, if you want to whore, take it to VIP, if youre not VIP, now is a great time to consider joining. Posts that are considered whoring will be deleted.
Don't violate any of the other rules found here.

If these rules are broken again, the chat threads will get closed and will not be reopened. Individuals who violate these rules will get a 7 day ban.

MY MUGEN GP front-right is FIXED!!!!!

50 bucks in a check im mailing to the guy & a 1.5 hour lunch break later @ Merc. Benz of Orlando (1792 location). my contact Glen Almeter grinded down the scuffs to a niiice flat shiny finish & applied some "adhesion promoter" material... then carefully & methodically mixed silver, black, & believe it or not; BLUE paints together with round metallic flakes. then finally threw on some clear coats & VOILA!!! NOTHING is perfect but its like 97% there Glen tells me. i think otherwise...like 100% better!

should be back on the car Wednesday hopefully. sh!t looks SWEEEEEEEET!!

good as new as good as can be expected. i challenge any1 that sees me in person to check it out & see if you can tell.

btw, all 4 wheels are back on the car & i even popped the center caps out & lined up the "mugen" symbols with the "GP" on each wheel.

i do the same thing...

i bet i could tell... i have a painters eye... b/c there are 4 of them it might take some time to find the one that is messed up but once i spot it i can point out where the repair was...

that's another thing i hate of my ocd is that i spot every little detail that's messed up... i guess it's a good thing tho...

ppl always ask me to go with them when they go to look at a used car b/c i spot everything...

i also went to school for paint/body so that helped my eye develop such a nack for those things...

lol we're just 2 peas in a pod from different cities then. i know a BUUUNCH of ppl like you & me honestly around this area. Matt (02civicsi) is one of them & my buddy Angel (angelsi06) is another i can think of off-hand. looks SOOO much better with SOMETHING lined up tho i think.

My wife thinks I'm a freak because I use a lint brush on the interior of our cars after I vacuum. I also store the lint brush in a sealed bag after each use.

I have one of those mini "California" dusters in a sealed plastic bag too for my dash. I keep two MF towels in my center console for "emegency" wiping if necessary.
