I waited close to 2.5 years to buy a used JRRH($350 picked up in Sebring) & searched for over a year to find that DC Ti rear strut bar because DC stopped making them for some odd reason. People still don't understand the styling of that car but there is a group of people who love them & I hope to make an '05 TW EP3 my daughter's first car since she was born in '05. I had a beaitiful baby girl on March 30 2005 & I will do anything for her even if it means daddy has to get rid of his beloved EP3. Having a sedan makes life with a child sooo much easier. One day I will own another TW EP3 even if it's for my daughter & I still have parts leftover in my garage. The car is still here in Orlando so I can see it @ the Saturday night meets if I go & it went to a good home. It's in the works for a JDM front conversion from what I heard last about her.
Either way....I still like your taste and I agree, that hatch was a great car as well overalll

Joey, I had Ricky crossreference the Fit horn I bought with the Accord "low tone" horn & they are the same. I'm going to install it right now. I didn't have much time when I went to pick up the horn but I did do a quick lookaround & I didn't see you around. BTW, I parked in the service lane so the Skunk was echoing like madd when I went to leave.

Give me about an hour & I'll post about it. It came out to $25.55 after tax. Weather is crappy again but no biggie since I'll be in the garage.

Joey I was @ Holler around 3:15 PM. I guess you didn't hear me when I parked in the service lanes.

Go to the parking garage by the Sportsplex if it's open to the public. One time I caught in a facked up rain/hail storm on the way home & I went staright to the parkin garage in the Altamonte Mall. Sh#t was crazy because afterwards when I got home the hail was still in my yard.

My shiZzz is in the gargae nice & snug. Will do about how it turns out with the horn.

that's smart & convenient... Lisa is in the Maitland area so that's actually not TOO too far away for them to travel. good call Matt!

lol @ you being @ Holler around 3. i have NO clue what i was doing then. prolly not much just browsing around on the computer in the sales office watching the radar & reading various weather forecasts hoping & praying i could get home before the weather reared its ugly head all over my car.

EDIT::: definitely raining HARDCORE here now officially in Waterford Lakes. IBpowergoesoutinlikeanhour. FAIL!

One last thing before I go to do the install. Advance Autoparts has Meguiars Quick Detailer in the aerosol can for $.80 a can so I bought 12 cans for myself for less than $10.

Just remember to park nearest to the interior of the parking garage.

well Phil, the bad news on "paint-to-match" for non-OEM wheels is... there isn't really a market for it nor places to sell it. therefore, you sorta have to get someone to match it best they can.

that's what i had to do each of the 2 times i curbed the GPs. first time was less than a 1/4 of the wheel so it wasn't too bad. but the 2nd time around it was clearly 1/2 the wheel so i was a lil SCARED to say the least. im definitely impressed with the result. did even take the wheel off the tire, let alone the car to do the repairs/paint work.

Yeah, Joey, I talked to Tirerack today, (that's where I got my Weds), and they don't carry touch up paint for them. I may try and order the Rota gunmetal touch up paint and since it's only about 4'' on the lip of the rim, it shouldn't be too noticable if the color is off by a little bit. My mechanic checked out my rim and suspension etc yesterday and everything's fine, plus the wheel/tire was still balanced perfectly so the only damage was for sure cosmetic. He's got a funny sense of humor cause when I wasn't looking, he took a black sharpie marker and colored in the scratch. It actually blended better tan I thought it would, that's why I'm thinking as long as the rota gunmetal is close, it'll be hard to spot from over a foot away.

BTW, nice weather huh?

Fit horn install is done. PNP all the way. It sounds like a horn not a "meep meep" roadrunner honk. Shame on you Honda for giving us the 80's Honda weaksauce horn on the 8th's. When you remove the OEM 8th horn & compare it side by side with the Fit horn you'll shake your head just as I did & say to yourself "WTF!!!". I would highly recommend it to everyone because the hardest part is removing the front bumpercover.

Now it's time to remove the resonator since I have the bumpercover off anyways. Holy mother, what a PITA to get that facker out. Well it's done now @ least.
