yes i guess if its needed & not "provided" apparently by the pictures then go ahead. man this lil project went from affordable to breaking-the-bank-but-soooo-worth-it.

yes i saw the wheels Erika. 5-spoke & a lil played out, but lightweight & very "brand-name" ish which works. good deal too. congrats! dont much care for the tires on them already tho for daily-driving (azenis). just my 2 cents. :)

hey Matt, good DIY for the header wrapping project. sans the "sealant" which Geoff claims is lame & totally unecessary. wetting the wrap before installation & allow time to dry to "shrink" to fit is key however.

check your local honda dealer. we have ones made by *i cant think of the company name @ the moment* that are 100% guaranteed to be made to fit the new Civic's huuuge windshield. they are like 30 bucks or so i wanna say.
i would have looked into one, but with the car cover, im all set now

well ok, i'll go there and buy 1 for the front but if I bought one for the back window, would that work?. I know there aren't sunvisors in the back to hold it up but I was planning on just laying it down spreaded apart to cover most if not ALL of the back like the speakers and top of the back seats. They're a tiny bit sun bleached. I could just lay it down right?. It's still shading the back right?.I just care about the back seats and I guess the speakers and the plastic panel thats holding the speakers. I'm getting tired of the hot bright Florida sun baking my dash and back seats. Nothing has broke or popped out or fried but I don't wanna take that chance. I just wanna start covering them up now. My car sits for 9 hours under the sun at work and it's making me trip out. I'm also tired of getting second degree burns from the damn shift knob LOL. DAMN THAT THING IS HOT AS HELL when I get in!. I leave my 2 front windows cracked about 2 inches to keep the car from blowing up LOL. today I checked my thermometer in my car when I got off of work and sat in my car and it said it was 106 degrees in my car......yeah,....thats F'ed up man!.

so i just checked my WaMu online account... i received my economic stimulus check as a direct deposit 2 days early--as in today!! full 600 bucks just as expected. woooooooooooooooot!!!

too bad all 100% of that amount is spent + an extra 75 bucks when i get it.

anyone else get theirs already? & what do you plan to do with it? gas? food? partying? car parts/mods? save it? whatever else??

hey Jared, a MPG update for you from my most recent experience:

i last pumped gas yesterday (Tuesday evening after work on Alafaya @ RaceTrac)... but before that was TWO weeks ago Tuesday (same gas station)...

anywho, driving VERY cautiously & trying my best to keep my cool, i managed to MOSTLY drive shifting no higher than 4000RPM but attempting to shift b/t 3000 & 3200RPM on average to keep the efficiency of the gas @ a maximum. i will admit i got on it a lil bit past these ranges to get myself out of harms way or when some1 REALLY pissed me off later in the second week & i hit VTEC maybe 2-3 times during the CFBMW meet @ Jason's Deli last Saturday night...but all in all here's my results of 100% city stop-and-go type traffic driving (mind you i have a higher-flow muffler, a short-ram intake & those spacer/gaskets if they do anything):

*dates b/t fill-ups: evening of April 29th -- evening of May 13th
*miles accrued: 313.5
*gallons replenished @ fill-up: 11.963 (13.2 is capacity so i still had a couple miles left)
*resulting MPG: 26.810
*price of fuel per gallon @ 93 octane: $3.849
*total price of fuel: $45.01

so that said, i think its time to check into your local Honda dealer with a sufficient claim of poor mileage; that, or its time to re-evaluate your driving habits possibly.

good luck. hope that helps.

night!

p.s.- ALMOST 27mpg is not bad considering the best ive EVER seen in the 1+ year of ownership has been 29mpg & that was 95% highway mileage on my way to & from the Honda Grand Prix & my weekend in St. Pete this year back in March.
