Talking

BUUUUMP this thread!! talk o-town ppls:

yeah so my night was spent home tonight :)

i was here @ the house installing my throttle body spacer/gasket combo from k20tuned.com out in the cold night air LOL.

so it all worked out.

here's my take on the P2R K20/RBC-application throttle body spacer/gasket combo:
"just got back from a late night cruise... im IMPRESSED. i can feel the added or rather, freed up power def. the revs climb faster & the throttle response has improved nicely as well (so far as expected with ***-ass drive by wire LOL!!) btw, the spacer has been coupled with my other recent addition; a K&N drop-in. so smooth i love it!!"

macro pics to follow once i get my desktop back on the innnnanetz & can upload...

btw, i also ordered more Mugen goodies from Honda Wednesday. im stoked much to my credit cards' dismay ROFL!!!
-Mugen Si short shifter assembly
-Mugen Si shift knob (FINALLYYYYYYYYY!!!!)
-'08 Si red/black stitch shift boot

the f*cking wing (MULTIPLE parts) is 1225 my price, knob = 106 my price, short shifter = 200 my price, boot = 24 my price, emblem = 157 retail, front sports grille = 510 w/ emblem my price..... stuff is maaaaaaaad expensive; but mostly all available for purchase... at least from Holler anyways.

f*ck the Mugen Si & all the effin' markup that goes along with it, ill just gank all the parts from it i like @ a nice discount to my tastes slowly but surely.

to any 8thCivics here, almost ALL the Mugen Si replacement parts are stocked & ready to ship in the Ohio distribution center. no waiting on Japan.

meow mix, meow mix, meow meow meow meow.

I think it's better for their market that they keep those parts controlled. otherwise, most people can't justify buying a mugen si when they could make their current si mugen-like for much cheaper.

OMG MY CARRR... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O

:SHOC KED:: SHOCKED:

damage report:
- Fender needs to be replaced for sure... which means I have to do the sidemarker again
- Bumper isn't gouged but chipped and the $700 clear bra on the front is ruined (also on fender) which I got done in Ocala...
- Headlight just has scratches but isn't cracked...

I'm still in shock. I can't believe it freakin happened.
My Si and a pole became close friends.
I don't know what to do..... the bumper is salvage-able since it's not gouged but I hate repainted stuff because it's almost never perfect. I was thinking of getting the Toureen front bumper, but then I can't get the clear bra (I hate imperfections like rock-chips or bug damage) or keep the stock bumper, get it repainted and have them paint around the fogs too (I was debating that for a while) I just want to cry endlessly. my car doesn't have a single scratch, rock chip or dent in it since I got it in April and then this happens.

I just have to rant since my g/f is out of town and I have no boobs to cry into.

Also debating if I should make it an insurance claim or not. I probably will since I'm estimating it to cost at least $1500 to get it like it was. My deductible is $500... what do you guys think?
