It does not really matter if they are on or not. If they came with the wheels I would use them but its up to you if your going to use them or not. Before the rings started getting popular there was nothing so its your choice.

Oh yeah sure i'm going to use them. I just wanted to really know if the Si needed them or if it mattered. And if it's important. They came with the rims so I'll just use them....why not?.

^^ They help a little when mounting the wheels and taking the wheels off because they hold them in place so its easy to get the lugnuts on without having to hold ur wheel.

Well!, Wheels are on, had no troubles. Everything bolted on well and was a perfect fit. The BFG G-Force Sport tires I have on there are wicked sticky!. They don't sway or crumble when in a turn cause they're 225's and are more squared than the stretched rounded edge that the 215 OEM Si tires have.

It's exactly how I thought it would feel with these new wheels and tire sizes.
It feels like OEM Si tires but more grippy and awsome when turning for cornering. I love my torque wrench I got from SEARS cause I got my McGard lugs and lug key's locked at 80 Ft LBS of torque. I have to check at the torque of the lugs soon after I've driven on the new wheels to make sure the torque is still at 80 Ft lbs. Other than that, The car looks awsome with the wheels on. It looks darker cause the wheels are hyper black and the lugs are black chrome and it all matches really nicely. I just wish I had a drop. I'm DEFFINANTLY sure that the 1" drop that the HFP Si suspensions will give my FG2 a more better appearance. But it doesn't look too bad now the way it is I have to admit. Cheers!

didnt want that one. with the "ding" & the missing part, i wasnt too keen on wasting my time with that one...plus it had thousands of used-miles on it.

but thanks for the heads up anyhow Anthony. i saw that one's price going lower & lower each passing day on the boards without a buyer.
