If I'm reading this^ right, then it's a good thing?.

Just realize when you're driving that you'll be travelling alittle bit faster than what is being shown on the speedometer. The good part is in relation to the odometer reading slower so you'll accrue miles slightly slower. If you were to travel 10 miles the odomteter would only register 9.1 miles. This is a situation I'm going to be facing when I have to get new tires myself. I'm in the air between 235/45(2.9& slow - 59.5 mph), 235/40(.9% fast - 61.7mph), 245/40(.4% slow - 60.2 mph) & 245/45(4.3% slow - 62.6mph).

I thought the bigger the wheel was that it had something to do with MPH?. Not the width of the tire. But anyways, I'm going to go with the 225/45/17 size tires for those Enkei wheels and soon get an HFP suspension drop with it. It will be perfect.

The wheel size is part of the equation which affects what the speedo is reading & the tire size is the other. The second number is a percentage of the first number in tire sizing. So for you that would mean the sidewall is 45% of the 225 width.

hmm, I see. What do you think of 225's? I didn't think that the Civic can get anything wider than 225's...?

I would be too afraid of putting anything wider than 225's.

225's will be just fine for you since you're going with a 7" wide wheel which is the same width as the OEM wheels.

Tire size is kind of determined by rim width, offset, & how low you are.

I went with a 8" wheel so that after I used up the OEM tires then I could jump up to a 235 or 245. Right now I'm running Comptech springs with OEM struts but will be upgarding to Mugen Sport Suspension by next weekend therefore I'll only be dropped 1".

Yeah i'd be nervous too. I don't know about tire sizes that high but you'd know more than me. 1" is good enough for me. Lucky you!, MUGEN suspension?. DAMN!. That can only work for Sedans?. How much for the MUGEN suspension?

Ours sits on top of the subframe and I believe the RSX's sits on the bottom. Don't bother trying.

Which Clay Bar kit did you buy?
Meguiars come swith two small bars so you can use one for about two cars.
Mothers comes with one big bar so cut the bar in half & use half for about two cars.

Once the bars have been used two to three times it's time to throw them away because they will be full of contaminants.

1. Wash & dry car
2. Spray the quick detailer on the portion of the vehicle you wish to Clay
3. Rub(Gentle pressure) the Clay on the wet portion of the vehicle.
Repeat Steps 2&3 until desired effect is acheived.
4. Wipe dry with Microfiber or towel.
Repeat steps 2-4 until the entire vehicle is Clay barred.
5. Optional Wash & dry car again.
6. Wax

Most clay bar kits come with instructions.

Just wash your car VERY well prior to doing the clay bar. You do not want to drag loose dirt around your paint.
