So is it possible to do an HFP suspension swap by myself when the time comes?. Can I just do it with my 1 hydrolic jack and 2 jack stands?. I'm wondering exactly how hard it is to do it.

Anything is possible with enough enthusiasm & a decent set of handtools. Airtools make the job sooo much easier. Ortivt6 says the last time he installed suspension with just handtools it still took him 5 hrs & it was his 3rd time doing a suspension install. With airtools it took me a little less than 3hrs & I wasn't rushing.

When I installed Ortivt6's Eibach Sportlines I did the front first then the back. That's the same way I did my Comptech install.

Here's a funny thing to think about. The seller is from the mid-west like you.
Yeah, good luck on that, man. Is he from Indiana, by chance?

Iowa, the guy I used to work with for some reason has a huge dislike for people from Iowa. My old co-worker is orignally from Kansas & he's going back to Dorothy & Todo @ the end of the month.

.....handtools-FTL!. I wanna do it myself but I probably won't do it for a LONG time from now. I'd like to have a garage to do it in rather than an apt complex parkinglot.

I'd say, the MAIN real reason why my Si doesn't have any mods on it of anykind is because i'm still on my warranty. If my car was paid off or maybe I owed like 3K on it, i'd be modding it by now. I'm afraid of messing with it cause of that. I'm afraid of something going wrong when i still owe 21K on it.

I started modding 2 wks after I bought my FA5. My first official mod were my Traklites. The dealer I bought my car from even swapped my tires for me @ $10 a tire.

Nice!, you don't waste anytime huh? LOL. wheels and tires and suspension are basics. But i'd love headers, catback, intake some I.C.E and a few other things. The first mods I did was take off EVERYTHING like pinstripes, mudflaps, sunroof visor and front bumper dealer plate. I took off all stickers and badges not too long ago too.

Dude, I live on 436 and Aloma - you live farther away from me than Angel's, so I just go over to his house whenever I need anything done, haha.

I don't know what town is closest to Fort Myers. I don't ever get out of my town. I keep my brown ass right here!. I've NEVER steped tire on the interstate with my Si. I'm too afraid of rock chips. I need to let that go though.

Yeah I picked up the wheels in Ft Myers. I had the dealer remove the hideous pinstriping before I took delivery.

yeah pinstripes-FTMFL. My car was brand spankin new with 5 or 6 miles on it from the tech's PDI. My car came in off the truck on March 09 2007 and I picked it up from the back yard at HONDA of Fort Myers on the 14th of March. It was only like 1 week old from the delivery. I wanted something that was NOT testdriven. It had EVERYTHING on it from the factory. I took everything off. I can't believe they dared to put pinstripes on the damn MUGEN Si. what the hell!!!?

Hey, do you guys have dings or scratches or damaged areas on your Si's yet since you've owned it?. I have this little chip on my trunk lid that happend while I was at work about 5 weeks after I got my car. I thought It might've been vandalism. I don't know though. Cause the lawn crew was at my Jobs parking lot doing the lawn maint that day. It could've been a stray flying rock from the lawn mower. I'm hoping it was cause vandalism sucks. I still haven't fixed it yet but i'll do so. It went through EVERYTHING, clear, paint, primer. To the bare metal. I have a magnet on it right now. It's not rusting or anything but I'm planning on fixing it with some touch up paint and sanding and buffing when I go on my vacation. And recently got a gouge on my pass side front bumper. I'll patch that up too. Thats what being a detailer is all about mang!
