Let's just say my car is on the loud side. I'm running a BCRH mated to a Skunk2 70mm exhaust. Just shifting @ 4k it tends to get loud so tends to make people want to get earplugs. Just the other day I made a dog jump by revving @ him. With that being said, I'm going to deliver Joey(SOLO8thGenSi) an ice cream cake because he was generous enough to snag my wife a rear bumper applique for her Fit Sport. Now that you know the backstory posts 2375, 2379 & 2381 should make better sense to you.

LOL nice!. I figured you were talking about your exhaust.

I was thinking that I should get a Vibrant full exhaust. I've read and heard great things about the Vibrant exhausts. I'm more of a muffler+quiet exhaust kinda guy. Do I have to get a header with the full catback or could I get the full exhaust and just use the oem Si header?. Aren't the OEM's good?.

You don't have get a header but you won't get the full potential of the exhaust without one. The OEM exhaust manifold is a heavy cast iron POS & don't bother going with a shorty header either.

hmm, do most people just get the full catback and leave the rest of the header and all that stay normal?.

I can't remember what the exhaust manifold looks like underthere. pix?.

The exhaust before the catback is two sections. One is the manifold itself that attaches to the engine & then there is the catalytic section.

I went with the BCRH first then later on bought an exhaust. Actually I'm on my second exhaust which is the Skunk2 70mm loudness but one day hope to have the J's.

How does the BCRH compare to the Vibrant RH?

Hard to say because they're very smilar in design. The VRH was not yet available & there was no way I was going to go with a RH with a flexpipe. I had a JRRH on my old EP3 & there was no turning back ever again from an all SS RH. I'm comtemplating wrapping my BCRH & the Skunk2 70mm except the muffler.

So if I wanted a Vibrant full exhaust setup for my ride, and I was considering getting a header for it aswell, i'd get the highflow Vibrant header?. That thing alone is more than the full catback itself!. Headers are expensive man!.

p.p.s.- all this race header talk had gotten me worried about the rumors of the stimulus check... something about ppl getting less than $600 bucks & whatnot.

went to Internal Revenue Service & used the stimulus check calculator & according to its results i DO expect $600 mailed to me. that said, Vibrant RH plans are still going forth as planned!!

You can run whatever RH floats your boat but that combo does sound goo.

Just don't go getting a tummy ache from trying to each that 80oz ice cream cake. For what I paid for that spray can of the quick detailer it's nothing because I know it will not be wasted.

Mother Nature wins!!!

BTW - Sweep out that garage already.

That's some BS if I get less than what I'm expecting.
