Hey Guys,

For those of you with I/H/E and a Tune, what rpm are you shifting at when you are driving all out on the track? I've typically shifted at 8100/8200 rpm but yesterday, at the track, I was holding out shifts to 8500/8600 and the car was pulling hard and I actually caught up to an Si that took me on the launch and the si has the same mods as I do (actually, that si has a cai, whereas I have an sri).

Just curious of what your guys' take is on all of this. My feeling is that I am shifting a bit too high for just an I/H/E set-up; however, apparently the car is still making power at that part of the rev band.

Mods are:
-Hondata FlashPro
-IPS K2, RRC oil pump, RDX 410cc injectors going in very soon.
My engine only comes with 11.0 compression, unlike the K20A that has 11.7.

I use my car daily and for now only want a "mild" tune .... But was thinking in raising my 11.0 to 11.7.

Should i go for Hondas RRC Pistons from the K20A or while i am at it pick something else?

All help welcome.
Now for the potential stuff-
Is there anything I should forget about? Anything I should add on? I will be taking this to NASA HPDE events about 3-5 times a year.

Hi everyone I'm trying to decide if modding my 2009 SI is worth the trouble. My wife has said that it is okay after the warranty has extired so that's not a problem. However, I look into the tiny shoe box of an engine compartment and just can't bring myself to the answer of "is it worth the trouble?"

My friend has a 90s prelude and his engine bay is full, but manageable. I look into ours and say "geeze, without a lift this is going to be a nightmare." It looks like to get anything done, much less just change a belt you have to get a lot of crap out of the way. Headers look like a nightmare. Pulleys are the same deal. I'm just not sold.

I'm trying to decide if it would just be easier and better in the long run to leave my SI alone and look for an old beater to start as my project.

If you've actually done some work to these cars let me know your thoughts. Everyone has an internet opinion, but I'm talking a turbo kit looks like it will be a total cluster to fit in the bay.

Just looking for some feedback from more experienced people. I bought this car so that it would be my over time project car. But, now talking my way out of it. Please someone give me some hope.
