Good job. I plan to try this out, but I am looking at different types of plugs/rivets, to cover them up. Flat bolts, loads of hardware out there.

Another suggestion, put in a rubber washer between the bolt and the spoiler, on the outside, this will seal of water/rust, as well as dampen sound, when your woofer thumps.....the spoiler will not rattle or vibrate.

I have an EX and am planning on getting an Si spoiler. My trunk opens automatically...would I need to get the Si hinges in order for the trunk to support the new weight?

Thanks Mitchyy! Would the hinges be the only thing I need to get in order for it to work properly?

Swaping Ex and Si Trunk?

hey guys,
Im really new to the whole fix it yourself thing.
But I have a 07 Ex in atomic blue, i if wanted to get an Si spoiler, would it be best to try to find someone to swap? And how would I go about this?
Also, I can't do it myself...I am deff not willing to mess up my car, because I have no idea what i would be doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

blueyedsam, u can buy an si trunk off of magauto.com. It would be best to do this because if u buy an si spoiler to replace your ex spoiler, u will have to fill in the holes on the rear face of the trunk left over from the stock ex lip spoiler. I do not remember whether or not buyin the trunk straight up is cheaper then fillin in the holes professionally, but check it out because it is definitely easier IMO.

So on magauto.com, is this the correct place to buy the entire trunk? Just click the Si button and its for the coupe.. And can you pick the paint?
